It was just a minute of Ahem and Gopi with their baby at night in bed that brought out a loving side from Ahem.
It was that first eye contact that he had made when he found her looking at him that said a lot. That eye lock was so different to all the other eye locks that Ahem had done with Gopi in the show. We have seen so many of these moments of these eye locks, including curiosity, hatred, possessiveness, caring and loving. Here we have seen a warm, loving and very proud dad.
At the same time he took to her affectionate staring at him so unlike times when Gopi could only look at him when he was asleep late at night. Here she was so close to him on the same bed.
His controlling nature has diminished considerably with his possessions, including the baby, that he willingly accepts Gopi's thoughts of leaving the naming of their baby to their Baa and nani.
His calm and relaxed state also revealed a protective Ahem to what seemed to be a potential thief.
Today was Ahem at his very best with his new family, wife and baby. He was a delight to watch cooing his baby and blushing at his wife. Gopi took to his cooing and blushing and blushed too.
