It took everything for Ahem to finally get to become a fully fledged dad.
Right from the time he returned home from work he had been itching to get his hands on his daughter for a cuddle.
He was noticeably disappointed when he arrived home to find mother and baby sleeping, but was willing to take over instantly without any hesitation when Gopi asked him. As soon as Gopi had left the baby was quick to wake up and cry, leaving Ahem to calm her down, only to realise what the reason was. His mum came to his rescue but he was eager to change the nappy with his mum telling him how to. This was the first taste of becoming the dad he wants to be.
It led on to him yearning to carry her whilst in Baa's room. His mother was so quick to notice Ahem lovingly look at his daughter and understood his desire, which was fulfilled and he was rewarded well. Ahem believed that just through carrying his daughter he had secured a meeting with another prominent businessman for the mineral water business project. He went on to carry his daughter again and kissed her for the luck she had brought him. What an endearing moment that was!.
Night brought on a worry for Ahem of him hurting her whilst asleep. He tried to sleep away but found the bed too narrow for this, making him slip and fall. He insisted to sleep on the floor but Gopi persuaded him that the bed was large enough for all of them. It is interesting to what extent Ahem would go to comfort his Gopi and his daughter by deciding to sleep on the floor. Not so long again he had Gopi sleeping on the floor.
Ahem his transformed and accommodated so much in his life for his Gopi and his daughter. His heart has warmed and enlarged so much to cater for his two loves in his life. He is finding that at every turn the abundance of joy and pleasure he is receiving is giving him stomach flips and he is loving it.
One thing though, would the baby have stopped crying had he carried her?
