Zee's day-out with the Nightingale...
Zee Music Channel will dedicate the entire day to Lata Mangeshkar today. Viewers will experience Lata in all her moods right from spiritual to cabaret, from solo to duets, and ghazals to discos. The day will take viewers through a smooth drive from the hit songs picturised on heroines like Madhubala, Nargis and Helen to Madhuri and Kareena as they dance to Lata's popular songs.
Her genius in singing a variety of genres can be watched in a series of programmes throughout the day. 'Retro Parade' will feature her songs from the 50s till the 80s and 'Ek Ke Baad Ek' will play her songs from the 90s till recent years. 'Cinemascope' anchor, Roshni Chopra, will talk about the legend and play some memorable songs. 'Bollywood Tonight' will have a special segment on Lata Mangeshkar and 'Midnite Manual' will air her peppy and fast paced numbers
