Vamp Elena definitely, because only when she became a vampire did she come to her senses and realised that her emotions for Damon were hidden behind a mask of a protective, safe and monotonous future with Stefan. Being a vampire brings out her wild and dangerous side- a side which is willing to have fun and let go.

And at the same time, her emotions for people are heightened. At the end of the day, she remains a girl who cares for people around her and strives to save them and also live for her happiness.

Most importantly, Damon is immortal, he requires an immortal girl by his side to indulge with him in his future endeavors! 😆
