sruti and tanni..same pinch here..before seeing Mohit amit was best mahadev to me..and he really looked good as shiva unlike other actors..and its better he didn't do Raavan and became Mahadev again..Manishji is d bestest best choice for Raavan..just can't wait for his entry and his scene with Kartikeya ( again Rushi-Manishji on same screen)

i always liked him as Mahadev (and handsome too ☺️) and if am honest ..the role of raavan will not suit him at all..Let him play the divine Mahadev.

Good for him.He has worked with sagars since a long time and that's why he is more comfy working with them. I had seen him in a show called dharam veer where he played the role of a revolutionary. I liked him in that show. Probably he would have been good as ravan but anyways all the best to him.

but in a way whatever happened happened for the best
in my opinion he is the only actor(off late) i feel other than Mohit who can carry out ShivJis get up and LOOK like Mahadev
very few actors have the capacity to enigmatic in Mahadevs avatar,he like Mohit has that persona to him

somehow his persona of Mahadev is stuck in my head-i kinda cant imagine him as Ravan

In the beginning, I had the same question - b4 I was familiar w/ Mohit, I was wishing that Amit could have continued here. But I could understand that he doesn't want to be typecast in that role. Given that, I am surprised that he accepted this the second time.

As others pointed out, he was Mahadev in AS Ramayan as well as the initial episodes of Mahima Shani Dev ki, where they showed Shani Dev's interactions w/ Mahadev, including a battle w/ him. Talking just about his mytho roles, he was Duryodhan in DBSK (for the month that that track lasted). Oh, and in the current Ramayan, he did a cameo role as Parashuram.

I agree that nobody else aside from him or Mohit have impressed me as Mahadev.
