Chapter 2

"I know what you mean. So, have you met anyone in Delhi yet?" It was presumptuous to ask, but he felt he had to ask her.

"You mean a guy? I told you, I've only been here a few weeks ago."

"I forgot. Sorry' losing my memory." Arnav asked as Khushi smiled'

A few more people had come in and sat at the bar. Almost without thinking Arnav stood up, took both of their drinks and led her to a table in the back, just as he'd always done with Lavanya. They sat down and he said, "This is better."

"Yes, much." Khushi said with a big smile on her face

"Do you come in here often?"

"A few times. I live pretty close by. I like it in here. It's usually dark and quiet. And the bartender is friendly. Tonight I just felt I had to get out of my apartment. Wanted to get some fresh air"

"Yeah, I felt the same way."

"Have you known the bartender for long?"

"About a year, I guess. My place is also pretty close. Are you ready for another drink?" Arnav said

"I think so." She reached into her purse but Arnav said, "it's okay, I have it. Call it a welcome drink."

"No I will pay"

"Well, if not a welcome drink how about then on our new friendship?"

"All right."

Arnav walked to the bar and ordered two more whiskey sours. "How's it going?" asked the batrtender..

"Fine." Arnav said in his serious tone..

"Khushi is a nice girl."

"Hmm" was the only answer Arnav gave'

the bartender waited, as if expecting Arnav to say something more, then handed him the drinks.

Back at the table, Khushi said, "Thanks. These are good."

"So, have you had a chance to see much of the Delhi?"

"A little. Haven't got that much of a time plus going alone is boring"

"How about if I go with you? .

"Excuse me? You will go with me?

"Yeah why not but only if you allow me to"

"Off course I will"
"You want to go right now. It's night and it will be fun" Arnav said with a smile

"But I don't have a car."

"who need a car when god gave us 2 feet to walk on? Let's go'

"Sorry?" Khushi said in confusion'

"Never mind' So wanna go?"

"No.. I mean.. Ye.. We have just met and we'" Khushi said confusingly'

"I know what you might be thinking.. But don't worry.. I am that type of a guy'"

"I know but'"

"Do you trust me?" Arnav said in his serious tone'

I know the update is short but look guys my Likes and comments are also short comapre to my PMs... One my likes and Comment will raise then you will get a longer update too...
