Anup Soni to judge a show...

Popular TV actor, Anup Soni will be seen as a judge on television for the first time, on Big Magic. Soni, who also anchors a crime show on TV, will judge Big Fame Star, a hunt for the youth star in Central India. The show will provide aspiring stars from the hinterland with the firstever ticket to superstardom.

In Lucknow yesterday for an unveiling of the first look of the show, Soni spoke about the concept of the show he's judging, "I chose to be part of the show because Big Fame Star is a one-of-its-kind hunt which has been initiated by Big Magic. The show intends to provide people from the inner-most regions in central India with the perfect platform to realize their dreams of achieving stardom."

According to the actor, auditions begin soon and in the search to find the most talented of them all, the channel will reach out to youngsters from the smaller towns in central India as well. "I have acted in shows and hosted some as well, but this is the first time I will be judging a reality contest. I am really excited about this new innings and hope that my fans and audiences appreciate my contribution to the show," he added.

Big Fame Star auditions will be conducted across 12 cities. Following local auditions, 50 contestants will be chosen to be part of the mega-auditions. Sixteen finalists will be selected to be part of the show.
