A lot of Pakistani songs have been plagiarized in the history without permission and you can find that information on youtube. But I'm sure that happened with Indian songs as well. Probably people did not care about the copyrights 20 or 30 years ago. Even now some of the songs are inspired by Spanish and other music industries.

This is just a friendly reminder to avoid getting personal with your comments. If someone does decide to pass a personal comment, please resort to the report button instead of retorting back. Trust me, it won't hurt :) You all are well aware of the rules so why violate them?

Does engaging in India-Pakistan talk really reinforce anything? Does it prove anything? Does getting personal make the ties between these two countries any better or worse? No.

Those who have violated the rules will be contacted shortly. This topic will be left open but closely monitored. If such behaviour is continued, this topic will be locked and there will be serious consequences.

We certainty hope that this thread can be turned into a healthy discussion.

@Tanhai
If you had said Indian singers have sung Pakistani songs then of course that's true, but to claim that ANY Indian has won fame BECAUSE OF Pakistani songs is quiet ridiculous. Unless ocourse, you got some namesb for me.

I did not blame anyone and I believe it is good to share music across the borders with proper permission and following copyright laws. I agree with you about the cultural exchange.
