Forced to Love? ~ Part 10

It was 2 in the morning and Khushi still hadn't come back. Arnav had gone back to the cabin and was seething with anger. He had hoped that she would get jealous and come back to get him, but she hadn't done that, she had gone off with some other guy. He had tried calling her, but she wouldn't reply. By about half 2, sleep took over and Arnav fell asleep.

Khushi walked in, just after 3. She walked in quietly and noticed Arnav asleep on the sofa. She picked up the blanket and covered him. She was about to go into the bathroom when she noticed his phone buzzing. Curiosity and anger took over. He had probably given that other girl his number!

She picked up his phone and noticed it was open to his 'Wats app'. She opened the first one of the evening. She read it and then went back to the menu. They were all from his friend Aman.

"So you just went off with another girl and left Khushi on her own."

"You know how she feels about me. I thought I'd give her a bit of space."

"No Arnav, you hoped that she would come for you. Be all filmy and tell you that she loved you! For god's sake Arnav can't you see you've married a s**t?"

"Shut it Aman, you might be my best friend but you've got no right saying anything like that about my wife."

"Ok, I'm sorry dude, but I can't see you like this!"

"I know, but why don't you see, I love her!"

"But she doesn't love you does she? She still can't get over her ex and now she's gone off with some other guy. Arnav she isn't the type of girl for you."

"I know, and I hate the fact I left her on her own, but I didn't think she'd just go off with another stranger!"

"Mate, I think you should let her go, she isn't worth it."

"I don't know Aman, I seriously don't know. Look I'm going to sit around and see if she comes back, I'm so tired. Good night."

"Night and mate, please look after yourself."

Khushi put his phone back. She didn't know what to think. She knew what she had done was wrong and she shouldn't have done it, but she didn't know what else to do. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. He loved her so much and this was how she treated him. She went to the bathroom and got changed. She then got into bed, and saw him. He looked so tense and she knew why. lying in bed, her mind went back to the night she had spent with Arnav.

How he had caressed her body.

Kissed her.

Licked her'

She turned onto her side and still he clouded her mind.

His hard and muscular body.

His skilful hands.

Slowly she fell asleep, dreaming about god knows that.

Khushi woke up and stretched. She sat up and saw a tray with omelettes and a glass of orange juice. She turned and saw Arnav sitting on the edge of the bed, facing away from her. She coughed slightly and he turned.

"You're awake."

"Yeah, good morning."

"What time did you get in last night?"

"Before 2."

"No you didn't, I was still awake then."

"Just past 2:30."

"Don't lie Khushi, I know you came in later."

"Fine I got in just after 3!"

"Did you enjoy yourself?"

"Arnav, I'"

"Save it, I don't want to know."

"Nothing happened."

"It doesn't make a difference. What matters is that you wanted to spend time with another man, when you can't stand me. I thought it was Karan you wanted. What happened last night, why did you go off with someone else?"

"Arnav, I just needed to get out of there."
"Then you should have told me! I would have left with you; we could have gone for dinner or something, maybe watch a movie!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't think then."

"I know you hate you, you can't stand me, but seeing as we're in this, can we at least try to maintain a decent relationship?"

After saying this he got up and left. Khushi sat down, not knowing what to think or what to do.

What happened to Kushi? Jealousy clouding her judgement? Cant wait for them to reconcile their differences
