Of all the characters in KS, Pia's is the most hard to understand.
If we were to categorize the main characters on the show, they would fall into the following categories:
1. The Good Guys and Gals đ:
Bani
Rano
Sahil
Rashi
Aditya
Dadi
Mausi
2. The Baddies đ¤˘:
Jigyasa
Ranveer
3. The people that are confused and hard to understand đ:
PIA
Generally actors say their character on a show is "grey", but then you watch the show and realize...there is no grey, just black and more black. Pia is the only true grey character I have ever seen. The problem is that the grayness makes her seem confused. She is a split personality that is a bundle of her own contradictions, the main one being:
"I love you Bani Didi"
BUT does she really love her Bani Didi đ? How can a person love someone so much, yet be so aloof to their feelings that they constantly unknowingly cause them emotional hurt? If you truly care about someone, shouldn't you know that person to a certain extent? Rano's love for Bani is true...even without Bani telling Rano her feelings, she understands her Di. But Pia....what is her issue? First she ran off on her marriage to Jai (when Bani from the very beginning was against the alliance..and said she should be with the guy she loves). And now she goes and successfully seduces her Bani Didi's husband. Is that a good way to show your sisterly love? If so, I am glad I do not have any sisters.
Even in a friendship situation I have seen a friend ask another good friend if it would be ok for her to proceed with a possible relationship with their ex. She did so because she valued their friendship much more than the guy. So how come Pia, despite always saying she loves her Di, not value their sisterly bond and maintain a distance from Jai. It seems that from the day she broke up with Pushkar she has been eyeing Mr. Walia. What was the need of constantly saying, "you had to marry him because of me." "we all would have been much happier if I had married Mr. Walia." Such comments did no good for a relationship that was still in the growing process.
Now my biggest questions is -- given Pia's contradictory behavior, will she abort the child she conceives from her one night stand? We all know that the next logical step in dramas is to show pregnancy following a one night situation. So will she abort?
She had no issues aborting the baby conceived with her husband Pushkar. So should there be hesitation in aborting this child. But given the character's personality I think she will not abort Jai's baby, but I cannot understand WHY she will not.
I am very interested in hearing people thoughts...I keep posting, but never get any responses đ It would be nice if people shared their insights with me.
