The cast of Left Right Left is busy dealing with the problem of mobile phones being stolen on the sets. With nearly ten phones being stolen in the last three months, the actors are irked and increasingly worried about the safety of their belongings.

Arjun Bijlani who plays Alekh is one of the actors whose phone was stolen. An irritated Arjun says, "I lost my phone (Nokia 7610 which costs almost Rs 20,000) a few days back and what is surprising is that it was stolen from my make-up room. I generally hand over my phone to my make-up man while shooting. That day I left my phone in the make-up room and was shocked to find my phone missing when I returned. I am not the only one whose phone was stolen. Vikas Manaktala's (Huda) and Priyanka Bassi's (Naina) phones were also stolen."

Sanjeev Mehra who plays Suriji also lost his phone on the sets. He says, "I lost my Nokia 3230. I got irritated and reported the theft to the police, who came to the sets to investigate. But they couldn't nab the thief. The idea of calling the police was not to recover my lost phone but to identify the thief and prevent such incidents from being repeated. We have not only lost our phones but also important data that was saved on our handsets."

Although Arjun doesn't want to blame anyone, Sanjeev is sure that a unit member is responsible for these thefts. "But we are not sure who it is as there are many members on the sets, some from the production house, others from the studio," says Sanjeev.

Arjun adds, "Several serials are shot in Chithrarth studios at Powai and one can't be sure of who comes on our sets."

When producers Deeya and Tony Singh were informed about the thefts, they arranged lockers for the actors. When contacted, Deeya Singh refrained from comment.
