Right now almost everyone in the forum is saying that Aarti should not be forgiven, she should be severely punished for lying and continuously lying to Yash. Even I was debating with myself on this. When AarYa got married I felt bad for Aarti for the way she was forced to participate in the lies created bythe dubeys.
Than after Yash got shot and when Aarti came back she decided to tell Yash the truth. But then she was again manipulated by shobha as shobha performed Prashant's last rite. Aarti didn't say anything that time I was very angry with her. I felt that she shouldn't have listened to shobha, but she did.
And now again she is hiding all this along with BMT. At first I blamed shobha for Aarti's situation but Saffi ( @ ilovepyaar ) made me realise that no one held Aarti at gun point to lie. It's true as personally I never lie to my husband no matter what. So considering this I too feel that Aarti should be punished.
But on second thought I feel that if Aarti should be punished, than doesn't Yash also deserve a punishment ? How can we all forget what he did to Aarti? I know we all love Yash for being so loving, caring and understanding person but than Aarti too has all these qualities. I want to make following points to compare Yash's behavior towards Aarti in the past with Aarti's lying.
Yash has so many times publicly humiliated Aarti . Like during Palak's b'day.
After Mumbai's USS RAAT ( where both were equally responsible) he blamed Aarti for seducing him. After that the way he treated Aarti. Physically pushing her. Mentally torturing her. Shouldn't he be punished for this?
There came a point where Aarti's character was being questioned, everyone including Vidhi went against Aarti. So what if Yash saved her from them but the next moment he blamed her for whatever happened between them and called it a Paap. I mean come on Aarti is his legally married wife and not some girl who seduced him. Shouldn't he be punished for that?
(And now when the truth comes out he might suspect that Aarti still has feelings for her Ex. Wouldn't that be like Yash is suspecting Aarti's character.)
Gayatri and bua almost once again were throwing Aarti out of the house. Yash was listening to all this but didn't said anything. Where was the Caring, Loving and Understanding Yash at that time?
Aarti took the kids and went to Dubey's. Vidhi told Yash that if you miss the kids so much, why don't you bring them back? He said that Bauji send them so only Bauji will call them back. Was he not wrong in ignoring his kids at that time? Shouldn't he deserve to be punished for that?
Till Aarti left the house after Yash's birthday party, Aarti faced so much humiliation by Yash in front of the whole family and her kids. No one said a single word to Yash. Instead they were indirectly supporting him. Just once SP reprimanded Yash for his behavior after returning from lalithpur.
But Aarti still stood by his side and supported him. Was that not Aarti's unconditional love towards Yash? And now some people are questioning wether Aarti truly loves Yash or not.
Just because Yash is changed doesn't mean that his love for Aarti if much deeper, true and unconditional than Aarti's love for him.
Till now Yash has not ask forgiveness from Aarti for what he did to her. Just once he said ( during KC) that whenever I think about what I did to you I feel so ashamed. I personally feel that if Yash has publicly humiliated Aarti than he should publicly appologise to her and admit his mistakes. Just because he is everybody's favorite does it mean that he can go Scott free.
Why every time Aarti should be the one to face public humiliation, verbal , physical and mental abuse? I know this is what will happen once again after the truth comes out. Will Yash think about all this during that time?
Is Aarti really the bigger culprit here? Is Aarti's lying more bigger a sin than what Yash and his family did to Aarti?
Yash himself said that he believes in equality. If that is so than I want Yash to be punished also along with Aarti. If anything happens to Aayu I want both Yash and Aarti to be held responsible for it.
I am not saying that Aarti doesn't deserve to be punished. She deserves to be punished but than so does Yash.
Well that's my POV regarding the whole situation. I know most of you will not agree with me. But I still want everyone's opinion. Even bashing is also allowed as I respect everyone's POV.
I might not be able to answer everyone's comments immediately ( as I leave in US and because of time difference.) But I'll definitely answer everyone's comments.
Just one request, you can bash me all you want for this post, but please don't bash each others POV because of my post. Please.
