Clocks, Lights and Garden Hoses! : My Rant
( PV episode dated 12/18/2012)
Where there is time there is rhyme. Where there is rhyme there is unshared thoughts!
Waiting for somebody can be a really a pain in the hands sometimes. The wringing, the rubbing against each other , the intertwining of the fingers, the blowing into the hand and the biting of nails and looking at it critically if a sixth finger has grown or something!
So is the way for Maya the Bua , I feel. The song comes unbidden:
mere dil ki ghadi kare tik-tik-tik
o baje raat ke baarah, haay teri yaad ne maara
khaamosh zamaana soye
ik mera hi dil roye (2)
aur dil par teer chalaaye (2)
ek jhilamil karata taaraa, haay teri yaad ne maara ...
I better stop before someone shines the light on me and tell me that I did not watch the episode and that scene did not appear. Well I was speaking hypothetically.
All of us would have gone through this waiting for someone I feel. Well maybe with other different songs in mind!

Oops that's the wrong gif.

This is the gif I'm talking about!
What I'm trying to say is it too late for poems. It's so late in the night Arti has gone to sleep without dinner and sleeping without some dinner makes you wake up in the middle of the night most times, I feel. But let's skip dinner and enjoy the poems by Yash!
This was the closest Arti has come to reveal the truth I feel and that through a poem at best. She kind of spoke these phrases; falsity of darkness will dispel when illuminated. That is the last poem she choose to share with Yash and make him go googly eyed on his beloved nodding-off-with-sleep poetess!
It feels as though Arti is trying to fight the darkness that might overtake her life.
She is telling her Yash ji that please open your eyes and help her without getting angry with her or being judgmental about it!
"The pupil dilates in darkness and in the end finds light, just as the soul dilates in misfortune and in the end finds God."
The morning light has not dispelled much of the dark clothed wearing man, because SM gardens is like the new joggers park. My heart did a double take when Arti found Ansh on the back of Prashant and I did notice that it was Prashant and not Yash. Arti should study her husband Yash's back more often, I feel. Anyway what I was going to say was I thought someone was kidnapping Ansh.
And this was where I thought that the custody battle might be, in near future. Ansh is being Ansh I feel! Prashant is the new candy man for Ansh and I really feel for his future when he will find out that this is his father who has kept it hidden all this time.

I'm skipping ahead to the future: The present is viler at the moment as a garden hose seems it wants to have a fight with Arti by tripping her! Well take the hose and drown the rat already, Arti!
I thought Arti was going to utter it should never matter if I fall or live: to you I do not empathy! But then Yash saves her angry outburst in discomfort by putting her in more discomfort. I mean what is this game Prashant is playing! Is it who has more presence of the mind to come up with more lies?
Yash's eyes seem to have a lot of confusing emotions! Why is this man holding Arti? Why is he here? Dash that why was here yesterday? A lot of questions are coming his way with this Prashant encroaching on forbidden territory!
I hope Prashant don't tell Yash that Arti looks a lot like his wife and that is why he keeps eyeing her!
It was a laugh out loud moment for me what Prateek said 'apki friend ayi hain!" because there was so much inflection and head nodding in his gesture. I feel Prateek will not like this Prasahnt in days to come because he needs to become Arti's voice one day, when she might get silenced!
Prasant is not here to recite poetry to Arti but to take and take. Well Arti is a giver but Prashant is a taker but this taker is inviting trouble for himself along with for this retro party to come.
Now I'd love to hear some lovely retro masti in the episode to come before the light shines on Arti.
