PV Episodes - My Weekly Take

My thoughts on Episodes 211-215. I'll just go with each episode.

I liked the first scene when Paridi apologised to the family and the family showing its love & support for her, especially the moment between Gayatri & Pari. Other than that this should be one of the most poorly executed episodes of PV till date. Even AarYa moments in Mumbai & in court were so so artificial to me. I loved Pooja's(Pooja_11) prediction the previous week that Yash will use the CD to convince the producer's family and withdraw the case/relieve Pari from this case somehow. That would have looked logical and simple. May be the CVs dont want Pankaj to use the lawyer outfit atleast once. Other questions I had: a) If Yash(,Pankaj and Police) knew that producer's wife left to Mumbai immediately after his murder then isnt she the first point of contact for the case? b) Yash planned to go to Mumbai to talk to Karan's wife, he could have gone alone or with someone else why a pregnant woman with complications is required? Okay he thinks a woman can convince another woman easily, will he take Aarthi with him say even if she's seven or eight months pregnant? c) Why didn't he talk to Pankaj about this? As the lawyer of Paridi, isnt he who should be aware of the possibilities to prove Pari's innocence in the murder? And I sincerely hope Yash destroyed that CD already.

Mrs.Mehta's words: I was thinking on her words about Karan's behavior - will it help Prateek to understand Paridi did not willingly do that mistake when he comes to know the truth. I prefer to ignore her other words.

PraDi: Prateek said he&Pari will never forget how Aarthi helped now thruout their life. I just hope they both remember this when Aarthi's truths come out & be her support at that time. I did not like how things are projected against Paridi (right now) as though she got into this problem only bcos of her desire for a career. But I expect this issue will be handled in future tracks so would like to patiently wait.

Prashant: Its time he should consult a psychiatrist along with his BMT treatment. How easily he changes his mind and his comparison of his time with Aarthi during their marital life with the current situation when she's someone else's wife. *SMH*

Vidhi: Being the good soul she is, she cares for Aarthi's health condition since the route for kuldevi mandir is not good. Also Aarthi should be tired with her travelling Mumbai (to&fro), handling case at the court. Its understandable. So she is left at home while others leaving for the temple. However Yash will return anytime soon.

Last Scene: Aarthi is inconvenient seeing Prashant outside the door while she was eagerly waiting for yash's arrival. When she's trying to question his presence, he starts to cough(not sure whether its real). She takes him inside to give water and closes the door. When she closed that door, I just wanted to keep hitting the show writer until he apologises and admit he'll ensure such stupid scenes will not be given to my favorite fiction character or atleast such scenes will be kept to minimal. I really did not understand the need to close the door. Even if any other friend of Yash comes too, what is the need to close the door when you are alone at home. If you do the same thing when you are alone at home with children, it will create a wrong impact on them too. Whatif the children allows that person inside when they are alone. No need to bring Prashant to the inside. You can place a chair for him to sit near the door and bring water. He said he came to visit Yash so let him wait there. Why people confuse stupidity with innocence? And why being cautious is connected to selfishness/heartlessness? Even if Prashant faints, you are going to take him to hospital thru that door not thru the backdoor. So I really did not get the reason to close the front door.

** I just loved PraDi's moments at court though the scene was a short one

** Liked Yash's letter though I did not understand(&like) the need for Aarthi's involvement this time.

** Kratika was once again fabulous with her expressions during 'bawra mann' sequence

Prashant-Aarthi in SM: I think I liked the interaction between them. It just showed how much they think they know each other. The truth is they knew each other very well but not aware of (or not ready to believe) the change in the other person's behavior now. Aarthi's dialogues in a way conveyed that she is not thinking that Prashant wants her back so she's just telling him to stay away from her family and Prashant wants to ask her forgivance and get her back as though nothing happened. He wants to use this chance since she's alone now. But Aarthi got stressed with his presence and felt dizziness. Prashant made her eat, take medicine and be with her while she's sleeping. Why's Aarthi not taking care of her properly? Do they want to prove that she's so selfless that she keeps forgetting her health in thinking about others' welfare. I just dislike that sort of negligent behavior towards herself & her children. I believe that only a person who helps himself/herself can help others with a clear mind&heart. Prashant's concern for her that moment is genuine but everything else is not. He could have called Shoba or Yash and left the place while she's sleeping. Even if he wants to talk to her on something, he could clearly see this is not the right time. Since he already made his intention of wanting Aarthi-Ansh back, we cannot expect any sense from him. By taking care of her, he just wants a cheap self-satisfaction that he's the one who takes care of her while Yash is not there whenever she's weak and being the needy. Something to stress on his thought that Aarthi will also be happy to come back to him.

If the photo of AarYa with Ansh is to make Prashant feel that they dont belong to him, I felt a photo with AarYa with all 3 kids would have done a better job. It will just show that Aarthi-Ansh are not some individual entities anymore so when Prashant gets bored he can disown them and when he feels lonely he owns them. They are part of a family in which he could never be a part of. The complete family piture represents the FACT that Yash&Aarthi are parents of 3 kids. Ansh adores/admires Yash as his hero dad and Palak/Payal look their mother in Aarthi and they love her. Howsoever he try, he will remain a outsider of this family.

I also accept they dont give the proper importance to the girls and loved reading the discussion in a previous DC on the same. Personally I think I dont want a track where the girls will feel emotionally neglected. Even if the girls are unavailable for shoot, if they take care of Yash-Aarthi's (for other characters too)dialogues & scenes where it shows the love for all 3 kids, it would do for me. When they can replace AarYa's photo with AarYa's with Ansh, they can replace it with a picture of all five. Otherwise, add 2 more photos in the room - one of AarYa with the girls and one more with all five.

When Aarthi woke up, she asked him whether the family or Yash has returned. Will they not be with her if she's sleeping due to tiredness? That once again shows how unaware she's about Prashant. She is not having wrong thoughts in her mind but she herself said not everyone will think that way. Her scenes are so contradictory

nowadays.

Scindiya family at temple:Why shouldn't Gayatri stage the DILs getting vaada from her sons in Bhopal temple itself which is a look-alike of 'Kuldevi temple'. I just missed AarYa in that family moment and felt Aarthi also needed to get Yash's promise. Vidhi asking promise for her children's ambitions just looked like it was added for that moment. Doesnt SP said women in Scindiya family do not work. Or the rules only apply for only DILs of the family(Deepti mentioned this in her take). It just looked inappropriate for me since one of their DIL took wrong decision bcos of their so called rule. I loved the scene & dialogues between Prateek & Paridi. Paridi's words clearly showed her guilt, fear and love for Prateek and in a way this may help to bond them both when truth comes out. If she's not carrying her guilt baggage, she would have just enjoyed that moment with Prateek. Leela was too good in that scene.

Prashant leaving from SM: Prashant's reasoning that others might feel wrong about their relation as Aarthi said so he'll go thru the back gate. He just wants Aarthi to believe that how much he cares for her (& her reputation) and she cannot hold him as reason if something goes wrong. Now we know why the door was closed bcos if it was open the family would have entered inside and saw them together. Aarthi could have told the truth he came to meet Yash and Prashant could have told she was weak due to dizziness so he stayed back to take care of her and was waiting for Yash. It was so simple, honest and logical & even could be used for suspecting Aarthi later. But we viewers would have missed the pleasure of watching their CCTV recording.

Family back at SM: Prashant hits Prateek while leaving but the latter could not see the former's face since its covered with scarf. SP says a known person dont have the necessity to leave that way. Family watches the CCTV recording and Yash thinks he has seen the scarf previously but could not recall whom it belongs. They decide to ignore and want to celebrate the victory of Pari's case. Scene freezed with Aarthi (in fear) seeing masked Prashant on TV.

Brothers Together: It is always good watching the three brothers on screen together. I liked Prateek's words about Aarthi's lovely nature and also Pankaj-Prateek's reactions when Yash said 'Aarthiji bahut pyaari.Main bahut pyaar karta hoon unse'. Yash did not realise he let those words out so his and brothers' reaction were cute as well as natural. However I could not tell the same about the dialogues of Pankaj&Prateek. Pankaj did not even tell that Yash could have informed his plan of going to Mumbai. Instead he told Prateek they almost lost the case but Aarthi's arrival changed the verdict. Prateek went one step above by chanting about Aarthi bhabhi's 'chamatkari'. Aarthi's magical powers are needed only from the time the younger DILs entered the house - one with her past baggage which is hidden from the family and another with a different mindset compared to the others in the family. What about Vidhi bhabhi, Prateek? She was taking of her kids/Yash's kids and managing the entire household by just accepting all the nutcases in the family and loving them with their faults with all her heart all these years. She continues to do that to her SILs. I feel she's not given her credit since she never complained. Though they forgot about Yash's initiation & involvement in this plan, I liked how he took a backseat and wholeheartedly enjoyed the praises for his wife. Only a real man who is confident about himself can do that.

Aarthi advising Paridi: I know Aarthi will advise Pari soon and infact waiting for it since nothing could stop the 'responsible&loving bhabi' in her who understands that her devar will broke down emotionally if he get to his wife's secret from someone else. But the timing & the place she chose to do that was wrong, VERY WRONG. Since she was careful earlier to talk to Paridi outside home, it was very clear her mind just wanted something to divert her guilt feeling and Paridi bacame the scapegoat that moment. I earlier said once Aarthi's right time to tell the truth crossed when Prashant entered SM and today in a way Aarthi snatched some peace (with Bua eavesdropping their conversation) in the situation if Paridi could tell it to Prateek in a dignified manner and in their privacy. Definitely SM kitchen is not a right place to discuss such a sensitive matter. Also let the girl breathe little happily for a day or two since she has escaped a major hell at the last minute. But I still hope Paridi's secret to remain with Prateek only. I considered the scenes (both the scenes) where Aarthi advising Paridi as she's telling those words to herself too to gain strength to tell her secrets to Yash. But I really had problem with the dialogues or felt it could have been better. Why are they stressing on 'that night' as Paridi's mistake instead of the fact 'she was taken advantage by her colleague when she was in her emotionally weak and unconscious state'. Paridi did not plan to spend that night with the producer to hurt/cheat Prateek. It just happened for her. For a moment, lets think that night did not happen and consider only whatever happened in vanity van. Wouldn't she have a fear deep within, she might have been raped if she had not hit that producer with the vase? Could not Aarthi's dialogues be 'I know you wont do such a thing intentionally. You can share your pain/fear of that incident with me if you want to. Nothing can go wrong between you two'. I think I just wanted to hear this from her since I desperately wanted to relate to the Aarthi I knew. I accept Paridi did the mistake but she is a victim too in whatever happened.

SILs together: Like brothers together on one frame, its also lovely to have SILs together for a light moment.

This was a very cute one in continuation to the previous episode.

** Vidhi-Paridi's expressions along AarYa's were cute and natural when Yash was entering the room.

** How come Prateek/Pankaj looked sober in the scene outside AarYa's room? I thought they drank much more than Yash.

** I loved Gurmeet-Kratika's expressions throughout the episode. I know they would have been discussed with minute detail in DC/forum so I'll just stop with 'they were too cute and too adorable. Their timing sense was just perfect in comic & romantic scenes'. However I admit I could not enjoy Aarthi's expressions wholeheartedly since in a way she confirmed me again that she's not thinking of Yash's hurt with her secrets. I do not want her to mourn in guilty throughout the day but I feel she should be more scared and more worrying for Yash's reactions that she's clear with his feelings for her.

** So happy to see all 3 kids on screen though its a promotion for some new Zee programme.

** Just LOVED when Shoba splashed water on Prashant forcing him to come out of his dreamland. He really needs it. I hope she remains the same.
