And honestly it is not the fact that they show this much violence in the show, its the fact that they and some of the forum members here try to make the violence admirable! And especially against 8 year old kids? I mean in real life, someone using a sling shot could seriosly harm the other person and very realistically make them blind! Wow, maybe its just me who finds this repulsive.

--That means you're presuming her as an adult. if so then adults also reacts same way as she has reacted in such a situation to save her mother from those notorious and harming kids. What you expect her to show them the rule book that see under section this and that you're doing a criminal offence against my mom and if you do not stop you will be prosecuted as per law. Its the normal human behavior to react as per situation and here her action is totally justified. Saving our loved ones from such situations is called bravery.

I think then if she is the most unrealistic character then we have seen super human's also in this drama series. Which is also seems quite unrealistic.

Yes, all such acts are admirable because such acts are taken to protect someone who is mentally imbalanced and cannot protect herself. Cant those kids think the same as you mentioned that hitting with a basketball on her face can seriously harm that lady.
I'm sorry to say here that - if i act as per your theoretical advice then i would not be hitting a rapist to save a girl from getting raped because it can seriously harm rapist's productive organs to further rape more innocent girls.
