All the stars there are ones who are popular currently. A lot of stars way more important than Kareena are missing because they were popular at an earlier time - Sridevi, Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dharmendra, and others.

That can't be counted as something to one-up Karisma with. It's an inherently unfair comparison.

With that said, Kareena and Karisma are at the same level in their respective times. Both have terrible script sense and will not have a lot of memorable movies. Both had a lot of empty hits with nothing much to do and nothing much to remember - Karisma with Govinda and Kareena with the Khans. Both will be remembered for one movie in particular. Kareena for Jab We Met and Karisma for Raja Hindustani.

Kareena is the better actress but I don't think that's part of success. She hasn't used her talent wisely anyway.
