I am quite Suprised!!!

Hi Friends

I hope you all would have seen the 2nd Round of NB 2 yesterday... Now, let us ponder over few things that happened yesterday...

The most important result that really surpises me, is that Shweta-Raja made it to the "Suraksha Chakra" as the first couple.... Now, in the past week, we have had many many posts from members here, saying that Shweta-Raja did not deserve a 30 last week.. We all know that IF has quite a big population that comes from India. So obviously, there were members from India too, who had said that Shweta-Raja did not deserve 30... Now, if that was the case, then how come they were the first couple to reach the Safety Zone??? I know friends, that India does not comprise of only IF... But, dont you think that majority of viewers would have had the same reaction that they did not deserve a 30 last time?? So how come they topped the list? This only means to say that there were viewers who were convinced when they got the full 30/30....

So if this was the case, then where are we headed to???? NB is all about "Good Dance" by a couple... So both the male and the female need to contribute...( I am sorry if i hurt Shweta-Raja fans here,please take this as another discussion thread. Let us argue and debate constructively...) I seriously believe that Raja was totally 0 in the first round. He really tried in the 2nd round, did just ok..... But, what stuns and surprises me, is that this Jodi was the first to reach the Suraksha Chakra...

What do you all have to say here??? Again, please take this thread as just a Discussion thread, let us not go personal. Let this discussion happen in the neatest way possible...

Well.. quite possible that many felt Shweta-Raja deserved the full 30 (at least die-hard fans will believe so)..

My question is.. how far will they go with this? At some point, the audience might just realise they're voting for a guy who is totally riding on his wife's talent & popularity.. There is no contribution from Raja's side..

Sorry.. I don't mean to offend any Shweta-Raja fans.. its just my opinion. Hope Raja does do better in the upcoming episodes for the audience not to feel this way...

i agree with u. altough swetta is a gr8 dancer, raja luks totally lost on stage. (sorry if i hurt anyone)...n they don't share a gr8 chemistry too. so, i wonder wht makes the judges give them 9's and 10's evry time. 😕 😕 n as for the audience, i can only say tht maybe the audiences are voting for "Prerna" rather than raja and swetta. I know they r trying their best..but all the couples are.

what surprises me even more is that, couples like gurdeep-arjun and hussain-tina where both the people r gud dancers get marked low jus coz of frivilous things. I mean, cumon! swetta raja get a 27 when raja has 2 left feet. n hussain-tina only get 24, when tina is such a gud performer compared to raja!!! 😕 same with gurdeep-arjun. i personally felt they deserved more than a 20. i mean, they give them 5's and 6's jus beause gurdeep's mouth was open! this is ridiculous!! i dunt know on wht criteria r the judges basing their scores on, but it certainly dosent seen right to me. 😕

Sree, I did a calculation by the ranking points GHT got 2 points from juidges and ten points from aud taking them to 12. Sweta and Raja had 9 points from judges even if they got 5 points from audience they are at 14 already. Lets not forget Sweta's serial is very popular.. This also answers the question about Keerti and Sharad, they werent the least pop with the audience but with the lowest points from the judge unless they were top audience vote like GHT it was hard for them to survive as everyonelse who performed poorly last week improved their scores dramatically like Ketki Rasik adn sweta Manav.

Same here I really do not know what the judges are looking at . Please look at the jodi as a couple not as an indicidual . Also please vote for "Swetha" not for "Prerana" , vote for "Gauri" not for "Nandini" , vote for "Hussain" not for Sumit etc etc ...........

I understand where you come from!!! But, we all are aware that even if Shweta-Raja got 9 points from judges, the majority to decide will be the audience...Isnt it? The audience has the last laugh as they form the majority. So if the majority of them did not like their performance, i would expect their scores to go down, would have expected them to get into the Suraksha Chakra as the 3rd, 4th or even 5th couple, and NOT as the first couple... They entering as the first couple really really stuns me...

Come on friends, we need to vote based on the performance of the ojdi in the contest. Forget what roles they play on television, forget whether they are big stars in tellyworld or not... Please vote based on their performance alone.... 😳

I do agree with you on that we need to vote the contestents based on there performance and not on there star power... Because of that I was really suprise that Hiten and Gauri were second to be in Suraksha Chakra. They got the most amount of vote from the audience even though there dance wasn't that great. i do agree that they did much better in the second round but we are judging and voting on there first performance.

If Shewta and Raja got high scores from the judges and not so much support from the audience, but they both still do a great job. Someone said that not many people like Raja's performance and hence didn't vote for them that much. But Hiten and Gauri both failed to impress the judges but still got the most votes from the audience. Does that mean Hiten and Gauri did a faboulous job as a performer? I didn't think so. They both needed to improve imensely!

I agree with what you say....Hiten and Gauri were really bad in the first round, but managed to sail thro easily , thanks to the audience, who voted for them , not seeing their performance, but just bcos they are Gauri-Hiten.... Even though they showed a big improvement in the second round, they really need work hard to stay on... But, again, they have the biggest fan following, so they might just see it off again and again...

well personally i don't think shweta and raja were bad. they did a good job, but tat ma opinion plus not to mention i m not her fan 😉 😆
