I think the CV's think as long as it is shown Sugni is untouched by any Man, she is respectable. There is a difference between self respect and virginity, in case they did not know.
One's behavior, manner , actions, and demeanor tells a lot about ones self respect.!
Champa may have had her virginity ripped form her in the cruelest of ways, but in my eyes Champa has way more self respect that Sugni had for the last few months!
Every time they try to make this girl stand up for something , she always comes off looking cheap. And why is that? Because her actions shows just how hypocritical she is.
In what sends me up a wall is that Sugni never seems to think to her self...Am I doing the right thing? Why is every thing I do seem to backfire??? She shows no remorse over hurting and insulting others , but gets highly offended when she is insulted.
This girl who before could never look at Vickram in his face and speak to him with out being shy, is suddenly Jhasi ki Raani every time they have a conversation.
What exactly in her mind made her think she was going to be able to stop this engagement , when no one in the thakur clan would even talk to her...so instead of taking two minutes and try to come up with a plan..like running to the police station and bringing them along, the family would not have listened, but the police would have her being a thakuriyn and all. She defiantly knew where the police station was, and she would not have been missed because she was asked to disappear! And I am sur they would have spoken to Champa 1st.
Really I have no idea what is Sugni's purpose in this show other than to make every one around her uncomfortable.
