The whole night Geet couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about Maan. His caring side for Anamika, which she was beginning to like. He still hadn't showed his face to her but knows he is always around to take care of her and her daughter. She heard from Nakul how much caring he was when she was in coma. How he spent all of his days and nights with her, holding her hand asking her to wake up everyday. Geet unknowingly smiles knowing how much he had cared for her. Than why doesn't he show his face?
Geet comes down after getting ready. Anamika was still asleep, she didn't have it in her to wake her little angle up. Dadima and her dad was already at the dining table waiting for her. Geet took blessings of both before sitting on the chair.
"Geet beta Yash and Meera will be coming here next month" (Mohindar says smiling at her)
"That's great. I haven't seen them for a while"
"Yes, when I told them about your recovery they couldn't wait any longer. As soon as Yash wraps everything up, they will come here and stay with us for couple of weeks"
"I am happy to here that dad"
Dadima; Geet I hope Anamika was okay last night. I hope nobody bothered you too last night.
Dadima looks at Geet hoping to know if Maan really did bother Geet or if she was awake at the time he came in. Geet remembers Maan entering the room to take care of Anamika. She was about to blurt out his little visit when someone interrupted them.
"Good Morning ma'am"
Dadima nodes her head with a faint smile.
Geet drops her fork when she saw a women no a girl wearing a tight blue mini dress that showed her every figure with matching high heels. Dadima knew who she was and whom she had come to meet.
"he is in the outhouse" (Dadima spoke)
"thank you ma'am. I will meet him there."
Geet looks at her with anger and somewhat jealously to see such a girl working close to Maan. She wanted to ask Dadima who she was but stopped herself. She wanted her leave, her hips gently swaying back and forth with each movement as she went toward the outhouse. Geet gets up to go upstairs. Her heart was pounding fast.
"Geet where are you going?"
"woh Anamika"
She made up an excuse as she quickly hurried toward her room where the view will be better. She goes toward the window in her room looking out for that girl and Maan. She saw the women standing by his car with her arms crossed waiting for Maan, she assumed. She was glad that she was not allowed to go inside. She saw the women fixing her hair and readjusting her dress a little to show her cleavage a little. Geet grabbed the curtain in her hand so hard that it was on the verge of ripping it apart. The girl starts to smile as Maan came in the picture carrying Vicky on his left arm. He puts Vicky in the car before addressing the girl. Geet frowns when Maan stands with his back toward her, yet again.
She shakes her head focusing her attention back to the girl standing next to Maan. She wished that she had something that she could use to hear their conversation but alas she had to leave to her imagination to figure out.
Maan was helping Vicky get ready for school while trying to get ready as well. He sighs when he saw Vicky unable to tie his shoes. Maan quickly ties his shoes before tripping on his own shoes. Vicky laughs seeing his brother on the floor. Maan gives him angry glare making Vicky shut up.
"Why don't you go downstairs and eat. I will be there in five minutes." (Vicky nodes his head.) "Ohh and" (he kneels down in front of him with a smile) "Next time I will make you trip so I can laugh at you" (he ruffles his hair making Vicky groan.)
"I told you nah bhai don't touch my hair. It took me all morning to fix it"
"you are only going to school. Why do you need to spend so much time fixing it?"
"Cuz I am the most handsome boy in my school so I need to look handsome as well." (he says before running out. Maan shakes his head with a smile. He turns on the projector to see Geet's face. He saw her standing at the window looking at something. Anamika was in the background sleeping peacefully.
"sir your assistant Ms.Shasha is waiting for you outside" One of the servants came in the room interrupting him. Maan looks at him with anger. He puts his shoes on and fixing his tie. He stops in front of the servant looking at him with anger.
"Since you are new I will give you my warning. DO NOT int erupt me while I am in my room and in my study room about anything at all! Understand. Unless its about my wife or my kid."
"Sorry, sir"
Maan walked past him thinking about Geet. Why was she standing out the window looking out? Was she looking out for me? He motions for Vicky to come. Maan picks him up in his arm before heading out. He saw Sasha at the door smiling at him. It then struck Maan. Did Geet saw her? He smiles as he walked toward her.
He stands with his back toward Geet knowing if he faces her than he won't be able to stop looking at her.
"hello Sasha. What brings you here?"
"Sir, I wasn't sure if you were planning on coming to office today, hence, I took the liberty to come to you"
"hmm. Ms. Sasha you know my personal accountant Adi. Next time, please ask Adi if I am coming to the office or not. I don't allow any of my staff visit at home unless I approve of it."
"Of course sir. I apologize. It must've slipped out of my head"
"Anyway, lets discuss the rest in the office" (He was about to go in the car when he remembered Geet looking at them. He goes closer to her on purpose grabbing the file from her hand, slowly. Sasha smiles at him with this gesture."What file is this?" He opens the file slowly not paying attention at all.
"Sir you have to sign the file. It is important"
"Hmm give me your pen"
Geet almost faints when she saw the girl grazing Maan's hand while she hands him the pen. Maan hands her the pen after signing but the girl drops the pen on the floor on purpose. She bends down to grab the pen making sure her cleavage shows. Geet holds the window tightly with anger when she saw Maan looking.
"What kind of person is he? Why would he hire such a girl for office?. I have to tell him not to hire her anymore. But how?" She sighs in relief when Maan gets inside the car but her happiness was short lived when he also motions the girl to sit in the car as well.
Geet looks at the car driving by with anger. "Babaji, I hope the car breaks down and the girl falls on the floor"
"i have to do something. I...uhh" (She drops on the bed thinking..) "how? I would have to go in front of him to do that. He doesn't even see my face than how?"
