Ha! You guys are finally getting on track.. This show is a waste of time..!Originally posted by: ..DamonCrazy..
100% agree. The promos of MB were really intriguing. This is the only Colors show which caught my interest. What I inferred was that it was to be a story of a girl who is pushed into the world of glitz & glamour against her wishes.I though that RK was a superstar who would mark down MB as a potential star...and then proceed to push her into this stardom against her wishes, remember the "Apne aap se kab tak bhagogi" dialogue in one of the initial promos?I was sure this show would have a different air altogether, but I was sadly dissapointed.
Acc to me...things started going downhill from the marriage.Of all the things the CVs could have done with these dynamic characters, they went for the ghissa pita overly used hate marriage track.Everything after that was so damn predictable. The entry of RK's family & Dips just paved the way for the show to become another kitchen drama. The original track is lost somewhere,as is the dark love story.RishBala have great chem, but their story is now just like any other hatred turned love couple, with the exception of maybe RK's tagde dialogues.*Sigh*There goes another show with a great concept down the drain.
As long as Channels keep churning out one serial after another every other day, there is no scope for quality in them.To compete with the 100 other shows,Indian serials will keep churning out tried & tested formula stuff, clearly seen in SP or Zee of Colors.Channel V has just 5-6 shows, which is why there is quality in the youth shows in it.They have started to do away with look look hawa hawas & trip catch fall in favor of sensible romance already, along with the age old tradition of...the good heroine=salwar kameez & spawn of satan=western clothes wearing, partying and hanging out with guys wali girl. It's nice to see the lead wearing dresses and skirts and it to not be labelled scandalous.
Perhaps if MB was in a different channel it could have retained its essence.Well...we will never know.No one wonder people are moving on to American shows these days
