Asad's state of mind is very regressive...

...it seems he is not only traditional but us extremely orthodox possessing extremely regressive thought process towards norms of the society subjected to the role of women.

Although, I want to wait till the whole promo to play out...I couldn't refrain myself from writing my views down...it's very unfortunate to see men in a contemporary time who has seen his mother suffer still practices such a harsh thought process for a fellow woman considering what his mother went through ...he still believes that a woman has to abide by the societal rules and has to go through with a marriage that she isn't happy with or she is forced into. His father Rashid abondoned his mother ...doesn't this speak for itself that he shouldn't be this harsh on Zoya.

I am trying to watch this show for Zoya...I love the attitude and courage this girl has not to mention the selfless love and a pure heart she possesses for everyone... but Asad's attitude is absolutely disappointing and disgusting me.

It is getting very difficult to sit and watch this kind of behavior...being a very progressive person I feel QH is not for international viewers like me...the thought process is very backwards and I am afraid eventually they are going to change the vibrant and progressive Zoya to someone like Asad wants.

I don't want Zoya to change. Indian society needs women like her snd not the other way around.

You know, it's funny because I started watching this show for KSG, but now, my primary interest lies in Zoya's journey. I seriously adore her, I wish she was my friend 😊 I also enjoy watching Nikhat and Imran - they're so cute!

Anyway, you make some very valid points, but I can't quite agree with the part about Asad's attitude being disgusting. That's a bit too much, don't you think? But I'm not saying it's perfect either 😆

same here...I love Zoya.she is just a delight. I never knew KSG before QH maybe simply because this is my second Indian serial. I am sure KSG is great but I honestly watch it for Surbhi...she has a wonderful and vibrant smile and I think her acting is great.

I used the word disgusting because that is what I am feeling right now...I am just getting appalled by his behavior in every passing episode. I honestly cannot see any woman and specially Zoya married to him. In reality it's unlikely that any woman would fall for someone like Asad and going forward to marry him...honestly the mere thought is suffocating enough.

You're right, in real life, I don't think any girl could handle him. But because this is only a show, I'm going to be totally shallow and say: he's too hot to give up so easily 😉 Sorry, I can't help making these comments - they make me sound like a hormonal teenage girl. Which I totally am. 😛

Okayyy... I get it that he is an orthodox and conservative man and it would really be hard to spend the rest of ur lifewith such man and even i agree that he particularly isnt the kind of guy i want. BUT this is a fiction drama so i dont see the point in trying to see if you will be able to live with such guy and call him disgusting. That word Disgusting that uve used really irked me.lol
Also ya Zoya is amazing but at the same time she isnt perfect either. The way she behaves in someone elses house, the way she completely disrespects the owner of the house! She needs to sort that out too. I am not saying i am supporting Asad over Zoya coz I love them both. But i definately am saying if some things about Asad makes you feel disgusted then there are some for Zoya too.. Hence I am in love with this show coz both are shown as imperfect people with their own flaws and when they will get together they are gonna balance eachother out.
Hence I dont want any of them to change completely but lil change is required in both. :)
