Jeevika woke up at 10 the next morning. She went to shower and then made two cups of coffee for her and Viren in their honeymoon suite. She went back on the bed and tried waking Viren up.
jeevika - "Goodmorning my husband"
viren - "Goodmorning my wife. You look amazingly gorgeous today"
jeevika - "Yeah, its the effects of being a newlywed"
viren - "And being pregnant. You know how much you were glowing yesterday? Well ever since you got pregnant, you look 10 times more beautiful than what you already are"
jeevika - "Okay stop complimenting me now and get up. I want to go see New York City and anyways we're here with our friends. We can't stay here in our bedroom all day"
viren - "Yes we can, come one we just got married yesterday. That legally allows us to stay alone with each other in our honeymoon suite. And anyways I think our friends are probably busy doing what we want to do"
jeevika - "What do you mean?"
viren - "Well I wasn't supposed to tell you this because pregnant people can't keep secrets"
just then jeevika punched viren
viren - "but karan was going to propose to zoya last night. And after that night at the club, we have another couple Mr. Virat and Ms. Manvi"
jeevika - "Wait, are you serious? Karans proposing to Zoya, omg. I have to call her right now"
viren - "Please don't!!! I don't know if he ended up doing it and you might ruin the surprise"
jeevika - "OMG I can't believe it. This is the best trip ever Viren. I only wish I wasn't pregnant because I look so fat, but this trip has been the best ever. And our last two single friends decide to hook up too. I'm so excited now"
viren - "You seem more excited for your friends than the fact that we just got married Jeevika"
Jeevika just kissed Viren passionately on his lips. Viren was taken aback at Jeevika's mood, but he wasn't complaining :p. He took control and then went on top of her starting to kiss her all over again.
jeevika - "VIREN"
viren - "What happened, did I hurt you?"
jeevika - "he's kicking again, ughh"
viren - "I think he doesn't like the fact that I'm giving you all my attention. You're right baby I should stop focusing on your mommy and more on you."
Jeevika got upset and moved away from Viren but he caught her wrist.
viren - "You know I was joking babes. Okay I'm going take a shower and you make a list of things you want to shop for and different places you want to see, okay?"
jeevika - "okay"
Viren went to shower and then Jeevika was scrolling through her iPhone checking all the photos from yesterday. As she scrolled she got a picture message from Zoya with her engagement ring, indicating Karan's proposal. And she mentioned see you for brunch in an hour!!!
Jeevika knocked on Viren's door telling him to come out faster. He came out in another 5 minutes wearing his jeans and no shirt. Jeevika just sighed at him and went and got her favorite shirt of his out. She handed it to him and he was smirking at her.
jeevika - "Check your phone viren"
Viren checked it and yelled "OMG"
viren - "Yes, he finally manned up and proposed"
jeevika - "Atleast he proposed in a romantic city, unlike you. Bathroom, like really? I can't wait to tell our son this."
viren - "Really now?"
jeevika - "You do know, usually all boys are more attached to their mother. I hope he's a momma's boy. So we can both gang up on you"
viren - "How about the three of us go gang up on Karan and Zoya right now"
Both of them left their honeymoon suite in a little while and went downstairs. They went to the starbucks first to get some coffee while they waited for the rest of the gang to come.
viren - "So where do you want to go after brunch?"
jeevika - "SHOPPING and more shopping"
viren - "Why am I not surprised. But honestly Jeevika, you are a doctor and we barely go out. What are you going to do with so much clothes"
jeevika - "Who said I'm going shopping for me. We need to start buying clothes for our son and need to start setting up the nursery. You know there's a huge toys'r'us over here. I want to go and buy him sooo many things"
viren - "Okay, whatever you want to do babes. Do you want to eat something, knowing you you're probably starving"
jeevika - "I'm not hungry at all, but your son is. So if you want to feed him, then I'm willing to eat"
viren - "Oh please, don't bring him into this. I know you're the one whose hungry. Okay I'll go get a sandwich from starbucks"
jeevika - "Okay, thank you"
Viren went to go get her some food while they waited for everyone to come down. As Viren walked back he saw Manvi and Virat walking towards Jeevika who was sitting at a table.
viren - "Look who we have here, the new couple in town. I didn't know we could influence you guys so much"
virat - "Very funny, by the way where are the newly engaged couple?"
viren - "Wouldn't you know, you were in the same room as Karan"
Manvi and Virat smiled and looked at each other.
virat - "Actually Viren, we decided to give them some privacy so I moved out of that room and Zoya went to that room with Karan"
viren - "Oh so where did you sleep Virat, on the roads?" he was saying sarcastically as he knew he must've been with his new girlfriend Manvi.
jeevika - "Viren stop bugging them and give me my sandwich"
Just as Jeevika was opening her sandwich, they saw Zoya and Karan walking hand in hand.
virat - "Ohh , look what we have here. Can we please just get them married here too now"
karan - "On one condition, you'll have to get married this trip also"
Manvi and Virat started blushing and then they all congratulated the newly engaged couple. Just as Jeevika was giving Zoya a hug, she screamed really loud.
viren - "What happened jeevika?" he said helping her sit back down.
jeevika - "I don't know, that felt really weird. My stomach is cramping a lot"
Zoya placed her hand on Jeevika's belly while Virat went to get her a glass of water.
zoya - "Doesn't seem like he's kicking Karan"
Karan was already done with medical school. He was a second year resident now at UCLA. Viren was standing right next to Jeevika rubbing her back.
karan - "It's probably just braxton-hicks contractions. Jeevika have you eaten anything today?"
jeevika - "Just a cup of coffee this morning"
zoya - "Jeevika you need to control your caffeine and you should know never have it without eating food. You lecture all your patients, but never go by your rules"
karan - "Okay come on, lets go eat brunch and we'll order some green tea for her. That should help"
The six of them walked over to the restaurant at the hotel and got a comfortable booth to sit at quickly. Everyone knew what they wanted to eat so the waiter quickly took their order. Viren then ordered some green tea also for Jeevika.
viren - "so guys, whats the plan now? Im assuming the other two girls here want to go shopping like Jeevika does"
manvi - "Its like you read our minds :p"
viren - "Feeling better jeevika?"
jeevika - "mhmm. :) So karan now tell us finally how did you propose?"
karan - "I took Zoya upstairs on the terrace of our hotel building. And then I pooped a bottle of champagne and proposed to her instead of a toast"
jeevika - "How romantic, i bet the city looked so beautiful from up there. I mean getting to see the lights and buildings is so much cooler than looking at you toilet, sink, and shower"
Everyone stared at Viren and started laughing.
viren - "You're never gonna let go of that are you?"
jeevika - "nope" she said smiling.
They all finished their brunch and then headed out for a fun filled day in the city!
