Trishna's jealousy for Madhu more evident today

I think the problem here, why they don't answer her back is they feel sorry for her at the same time. She's an orphan, mother is dead, and also her father never showed her any love, though now she has a new father and mother, those parents always have in mind her special circumstances so they let her get away with murder.

Now the situation of Madhu being married to a superstar and Trishna's big dream having no way of being realised again this is what makes Madhu to stay silent, she as the younger sister married first before the elder one, all Trishna says she reminds Madhu that has all the material comforts which are very important to Trishna and Madhu knows they are important to her, as when they were discussing why she wants to be a star and how she was living in the house of theirs at the chawl like she was already a star in the family, so Madhu feels some sympathy for her sister because of this, so when Trishna talks Madhu feels okay she is right because she values these things.

However I feel in the future when her circumstances improve they will be a face off between them. I don't think Trishna will be a pauper forever she will have also wealth and fame and when that happens, when Trishna starts to talk rudely to her younger sister, Madhu will answer her as they will be level playing field then, and she can speak to her with no regrets or feeling sorry for her. This upbringing of not answering back Trishna because she is less fortunate then Madhu and that she has these big dreams, Padmini showed Madhu when bringing both the girls up that because Trishna's real mother is watching over her she can't answer her back, so Trishna became very spoilt because she is an orphan, she is someone else's daughter and her real mother who is dead would not like it (Roma said in the hospital to Trish) the reason why Paddo doesn't answer back Trishna would never answer back her step daughter, so she passed this upbringing to her daughter, to let Trishna get her way in all arguments, but I know Madhu when she sees her sister is comfortable and it's a level playing field she will answer back, because in the beginning the two sisters had fight chasing each other etc, but then it was level both living under the same roof and with neither having more then the other.
