Our spy just gave us the scoop that KJo is *this* close to signing on Salman Khan for his next venture – he's been chasing Salman to do his film for a month now, and it looks like Sallu is caving and just may agree to star in it after all! Wondering why KJo isn't going with his favourite, Shah Rukh, this time around? Here's why!

Our spy tells us that while everything may seem good on the surface for Shah Rukh and KJo, there's actually a bit of tension behind the scenes. Things soured between the two when Shah Rukh made Karan apologize to Priyanka Chopra over those tweets he posted, and since then things have just not managed to go back to the way they were. Karan therefore began sending Salman feelers when he started thinking about his next project, and he may just end up signing him on now!
