I agree with you.though we love their look & acting & all that but I think its the character they are playing that we love. I love Apu as Armaan or maybe will love him as dev...never liked him in any of his movies though

its just that we see them everyday-they become part of our lives

I completely agree with you.Seeing them daily creates some bond.These Apu and Ram are more to television and less to Cinema .I like Ram and Apu very much as actors.
