I completely understand where you are coming from. That's one thing that hurts me too. I am not sure if Barun realizes completely what an opportunity he had. I have always maintained ASR is a role of a lifetime. Especially if he wanted to leave in Feb, that sort of makes you wonder did he really get it? Did he really get what a phenomenon the character ASR is? There are reasons why so many of us from all over the world fell in love with this character and the Jodi. I sincerely hope oneday he realizes what he walked out from.
still he wont do anything...have u seen how sanaya talks ...how confident and clear she is...she said she got a lot of movie offer during ipk but she never took it...i m not saying she did a good...but the movie barun took i dont know why he picked that movie...this much popularity could have give him a lot better oppurtunity ...u r 28 this is ur time for hard work dude when he will realize that...that madmiass people using him big time even i can see it...
and if that movie fails who do u think cast him he does not have kapoor, khan after his name...killing asr is like killing laxmi the godess who was clearly sitting on his lap...
I think he already has movie offers and they might be better than MAMR. I am not sure, just guessing. We have to wait and see.
Don't even get me started on MAMR. At that point I was his diehard fan and I was so disappointed that he left ipk for a movie like MAMR (it might be good, but from the looks of it I have no expectation). If he had been a little more patient he would still have many ppl like me as fans who would be rooting for him and his career in BW. He should have just completed ipk properly (which most probably would have taken appx two years), then move on to BW. If that was the case, I would have watched every crappy movie he would have been a part of and support him nonetheless. Even, if he had a better offer than MAMR, I still would have understood his leave in May. Anyways, his life, his choice.
About hard work, what was he thinking when he joined tv industry? If he didn't get movie offer, would he still be complaining about long hours? Would he still be saying that doing the same thing again and again makes you brain dead? What about showing some respect to the industry which has given you so much name and fame? If his movie career doesn't work out then suddenly he would be okay with long working hours? Even if his movie career works out, he doesn't have to work hard there? As far as I know to be successful you have work hard everywhere be it in Telly or Bollywood. There is no shortcut to success other than hardworking. Gauri (SRK's wife) was once asked "do you miss Shahrukh when is out on a tour or shooting for movies?".Her reply was, "I have been missing him for the last 18 years since he joined BW and have been waiting for him to come back to me someday. He works really hard and it's because of his hardwork he is where he is today."
