Bakul Thacker has been going through a rough patch in his personal life as the actor's father is in the ICU of a suburban Mumbai hospital. His father was walking towards an ATM when suddenly a motorcycle knocked him down and he ended up

with a massive head injury.

"The two-wheeler struck him and he fell down to hit the pavement. I was at the gym and returned to see my father bleeding profusely. I immediately rushed him to the hospital and the doctors diagnosed it as a multiple scull fracture. Thus my dad had to be kept in the ICU for quite a few days. Right now he is recovering slowly but steadily. Two more weeks and I guess he will be fine," says Bakul who has been in the hospital with his family and cousins for the past ten days.

Bakul has currently two shows on air, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka (Star One) and Agantuk (DD), besides a play titled Mera Naam Joker. Though he hasn't been reporting to the sets since a few days. "I've not been shooting and will be required to be around my family for some more time. I am waiting for the MRI results to be out and things to settle down and will then resume work," sighs off Bakul.
