Let me start by saying I DO NOT agee with anyone - man, woman or child being forced into a physical relationship they do not want whether it is by manipulaton, blackmail, cohersion or physical force.
Why do the CVs continuously do things to destroy TVS which in turn results in making Sugni look cheap and characterless?
My comments below are in context of trying to understand what the CVs are trying toshow about Sugni.
Sugni was given 2 hours by TVS to prepare for their one night stand. Apart for considering suicide for a few minutes before talking herself out of it and an few minutes of monolouge with Sitamaya that please understand that I am doing this to protect my husbands life she spend the rest of the time (presumably) getting dressed up instead of:
- asking G for help (assuming she is not around)
- going to Jiji and MT and telling them that Adi is participating in bare knuckel fight which may cost him his life. They will make TVS stop the fight no matter what the cost (yes they will hate Sugni more, but is that not better than losing your virtue)
- tallking/begging/pleading wth TVS not to do this and cheapen what they had. She knows he loves her deeply (she saw just a few days ago that despite all his sarcasm / tuants she burns herself slightly and his reaction/concern is instantaneous) and she should be able to make him realise that he is wrong to do this. If they can show champa begging DVeven where there is no chance that, that low life would let her her go then why not show Sugni at least trying other options?
Instead she is shown to make no effort. Why? Are the CVs so hell bent on destroying the TVS character that they cannot see that Sugni'sbehaviour raises questions about her morals/wishes?
