Dear Vidya/Tina (and Sanchayita as well).

Don't be too hard on this episode, it was better than it looked at first sight. I am not up to a detailed comment right now, or rather my wrist is not after yesterday's orgy to typing, but I wanted to make a couple of points.

As for having known from the beginning that it was Jaswant the trainer, if in the end it had proved to be Vikrant, then one would have felt that one knew all along that it was NOT Jaswant. Hindsight is always 20/20, and I am often the same!😉 The point is that we did not know what Arjun finds out near the end from Jaswant's stockmarket and other financial dealings, so there is no way one could tell, except by guessing, and that as Holmes would say, is destructive of one's deductive abilities.

The main turning points in the case come from two sets of financial records: first those of Swaraj Raikar, with the 1 crore bank transfer, and the second those of Jaswant, and Arjun scores in seeing the need to dig them up and check them, and in drawing the correct conclusions from them

But the first has the kind of hole in it that would sink the whole episode. It is clear that Swaraj Raikar bets against himself with the bookies the previous year and throws the match to make that 1 crore. Do the CVs want us to believe that the bookies paid his betting gains into his bank account from their bank account? No way!

He would, in the first place, have gone to great lengths to hide his identity, for if it had leaked that he was betting against himself, the fat would have been in the fire. So this way too there would have been nothing in HIS bank account.

More important, there would have been no banking transfer at all, it would have been a cash or a hawala transaction. Again, there would never have been a bank transaction for Arjun to trace.

Lastly, even allowing, merely for the sake of argument (though it is ruled out, as explained above) that there WAS such a bank transfer, another very serious problem would come up. Any banking transaction over Rs,50000/- needs the PAN numbers (income tax permanent identification number) of both the sender and the recipient. Raikar would have been hauled up at once by the IT authorities for the tax due on the 1 crore, even it he had transferred it at once to his wife.

So you see, it is a weak episode, but not for the reason that you could not identify. It is because the central point is a non-starter. The rest was all quite good, and the end rush to nab the sniper was like something out of The Day of the Jackal. What it needed was a solid dose of good old-fashioned suspension of disbelief!

Shyamala (Aunty)

I was confused about the bomb leading to Idriss and then the contract killer thing
and finally a sniper really coming
but the stage for the wrestling case was awesome however

Yeah, for me too...it was a good/ok episode...

i like the plot but something lacked...i dont understand what it was...

I was just looking for the ETF team in action...the case didnt hook me to it...Shree-Chotu were adorable!! Shree's dam-it was cute!!! loved the ETF case discussion scenes...
Arjun's cutting chai was back in action..loved that!

I liked Swaraj's character...though he cheated on his fans and well wishers, it was for his wife...i mean a genuine reason to get her treated...but yeah, he chose the wrong way...majhboori insaan se kuch bhi karwa sakthi hai...

I had a doubt on the coach from the beginning...

Suddenly, Arjun deducting all the secrets and that the coach was behind the bomb blast seemed rushed up...i mean it wasnt well explained why he got that doubt suddenly!
Had some valid points...only cricket and cricketers get importance...no other game gets that attention however good they are...very true...most of us ignore the other sports...reasons may be many but we do!

Overall good episode!!

I was finding Shaleen very stylish & suave with each passing frame😎 Starting with the way he was bending his head skeptically while Rathore was interviewing Swaraj.Agree with Vidya story was okay but individual characters did their part very very well👏

Aunty, first of all you shouldnot type like this, wounding your hurt finger more and more. Why are you doing this I don't know! And its not at all like that, really it was so evident that Jaswant planned this murder. And I felt this episode lacked Arjun's 'Zameen Hila Dene Wali Discovery', which could have done by the cv's to make the case more original. And the loop-holes were really silly this time.

Neither do I, my dear, honestly! And it is my whole left wrist, not just a finger, so it is worse. Never mind. this is positively the last thing I will do till next weekend, which should make you happy. 😉Payback for all the nagging I did about your exams!😉😉

As for your 'always knew Jaswant was the culprit', I really wish it had turned out to be Vikrant, who could just as well have hired that contract killer, and then where would you have been? What do you suppose a red herring is and what it is meant to do? I think the CVs have become lazy, and have deprived me of the above-mentioned treat!😉

As for the huge loophole about the Swaraj bank transaction,it might have been silly, but unless I am mistaken, no one else commented about it, did they? That was the main reason I wrote on this thread and then converted it into a stand alone post.

Bye for now and be a good girl!

That, my dear, is the real fun of a crime series. If not, what is left but Arjun's shirts and his glares (pun intended!)
