Shivangi is too much like Nimrit!

I know, I know Dimple is meant to be playing two different characters but somehow I can't help but feel that her characters are too similar. I don't know whether it's just her, or the way Shivangi is portrayed but I feel Shivangi is too much like Nimrit. In the start, Shivangi had a dangerous secret behind her but now that she is revealed as Nimrit's twin, her naivety is shown to the extreme. She easily accepted Amrit as her sister, and treats her as if she is right (to some extent) - come on, seriously? No disrespect to Dimple, she is a good actress but I want Shivangi to be different. Enough of these saris, I would rather she wears salwar suits or western dresses, be different to how Nimrit is.

iam watching this show from beginning and fan of dimple and navi as agni but now i like dimple with tej. agreed she is too much like nimrit but pehli waali nimrit. and one more thing shivangi doesnt know amrit fully. but yes dont want these sarees. i think its cv's fault not dimple's. she was fab when the secret was not revealed...

Ya she is same like nimrit...may be because of her innocent nature or may be her blind faith on amrit...she should act different than nimrit otherwise it will become a khichadi

Exactly! It's not Dimple's fault but the execution of her character. Maybe the CVs feel that we need to know Dimple as she was. I'd prefer if Tej has a woman who is different to how Nimrit was (minus the face)

I haven't watched her before but don't understand why CV's are giving her Sarees...Her character is young and very much single ..common CV's spice it up with some nice chudidhars ...

Yes Zahara I am Agree with you..Yes I read some WU and I see That Shiva.. is like Nimrit...Me too I did not like that especially in today episode...but I think The CV's think that if she is her Twins sister so she must be like her in many things...but in real life can happen but not in All things...and Shiva did not know Amrit From the beginning.

I agree! She used to be so rude to Tej and Nimrit in the initial episodes of her track, so why is she like Nimrit now? We know Amrit is the witch sister, Nimrit is the naive BUT confident one so Shivangi should be nice but think from the mind. And yes, I find the saree thing weird. She should wear western clothes or shalwar kameez or churidar suits.
