jeevika - "What's this for?"
Viren went to his room and grabbed his sweatshirt helping Jeevika put it on.
viren - "I have to show you something?"
Viren then picked her up and helped her into the car. He drove for 15 minutes and then reached some place, outside some town home. He took her out and took her to the front of this one house.
viren - "Use that key to open the door"
Jeevika did as Viren said. They both entered the home and Jeevika looked around. It was a beautiful home, fully furnished and had so many photos of Viren and Jeevika all over.
viren - "How do you like it?"
jeevika - "It's awesome, but whose place is this and why are our pictures here?"
viren - "This is our new home"
jeevika - "Wait what? this is our place?"
viren - "Yup, see I knew that you would be really busy next year and would be in the hospital all the time. I wanted to be at home at least to be able to see you sleep or cook dinner for you. I miss having you around jeevs. And also ur oh so cool boyfriend got a job at a law firm for the summer, which helped me afford this mini house"
Jeevika was still shocked. She loved the idea of moving in with viren, but was still a little skeptical.
jeevika - "But viren, would it be right for both of us to be moving in like this? I mean we aren't married yet"
viren - "Look jeevika, its just a matter of time. Once you finish your medical school we are going to be married. Our careers are fixed and set, now its time we think about our relationship don't you think? And also this house is much closer your hospital and med school than your apartment. It makes sense that we do this don't you think?"
jeevika - "Thats true, SO THIS MEANS THIS IS NOW GOING TO BE OUR HOUSE?"
viren - "Yup, well at least until we have kids. Then we're going to need a bigger house"
jeevika - "Really Viren, kids already. Let's focus on getting engaged, then married"
viren - "Why, we can just focus on kids first can't we?"
Jeevika punched Viren on his chest.
jeevika - "So when do we move it?
viren - "I was thinking the first week of July? We'll both be on break that time, well me until my job starts which is end of July. And hopefully your cast will be off by then so I don't have to do all the work by myself :p"
jeevika - "Very funny! I can't wait now. Viren now that we're out can we quickly go and pick up a few of my things. I need my books to study, my boards are in 3 weeks"
viren - "On one condition, you have to go sleep as soon as we go home. No studying tonight, you need a break"
jeevika - "Look whose talking, the guy who sits in the library 10 hours straight not eating anything"
viren - "Well I do it for us, for our future jeevs. I'm confident that after this summer job, they will hire me permanently post the bar exam next year" he said kissing her forehead.
Viren and Jeevika soon left their new home and went to Jeevika's apartment. Viren didn't let her go upstairs. He went up and got all the stuff he thought she would need from her books to more clothes incase she wasn't well enough tomorrow. By the time he came back down Jeevika was fast asleep in the car. He drove back to his place carrying her once again. He put her on his bed and covered her up with the blanket. He then went back to his car and brought all her stuff inside and placed it in his room, so it would be easy for her to access in the morning. Viren had lots of work to do, but before he remembered he should go get a pair of crutches for Jeevika as she'd have a tough time walking without that. He quickly drove out again to the nearest pharmacy and bought her a pair. He changed into sweats and kissed Jeevika as she slept. He closed the door and went into the kitchen making himself a cup of coffee as he needed to finish studying. Viren studied all night and fell asleep on his books around 4 in the morning. His alarm woke him up at 6. He went inside quietly to check on Jeevika who was still asleep. He got his clothes out and went to take a shower. He then went to make some breakfast. He made himself a sandwich and also one for Jeevika and wrapped it up placing it in the fridge. He then went inside the room to place the crutches next to jeevika and left a note telling her he made her some food and that it was in the fridge.
Jeevika wipe up around 10 and looked for Viren. She then remembered he had a seminar to attend. As she sat up she saw the crutches next to the bed and and breakfast note Viren had wrote for her. She just smiled looking at that. Jeevika got up and walked to the bathroom with the help of her crutches. She brushed her teeth and went out to make some coffee. She saw the sandwich Viren made and ate it with her coffee. Viren had placed all her books on the table in the kitchen knowing the first thing she would do is hit the books. Jeevika decided to instead make some lunch for Viren so she took her books and kept it near her while she made food. Both Viren and Jeevika loved to cook and they took many cooking classes in the summer. Jeevika decided to make Viren's favorite pasta. She had a tough time standing though, but pulled it off. She had everything ready and was just waiting for Viren to come home so she could mix everything together. Soon enough Viren came and saw his cute girlfriend in the kitchen.
viren - "oh my god, did you make my favorite?"
jeevika - "Only for you :)"
viren - "Good, cause I'm starving. How's you leg?"
jeevika - "Kinda irritating, can't believe i still have a few more weeks till it comes off. Going to have to arrange a ride to my classes somehow"
viren - "Don't worry, I'll drop you anytime you need me to. And I think its better you stay here with me till the cast comes off. You'll probably end up falling if your alone"
jeevika - "Are you sure"
viren - "If i wasn't sure, why would i bring like your entire closet to my place last night?"
jeevika - "Are you serious? Did you bring like everything here?"
viren - "Kinda" - he smiled
Both of them ate the pasta Jeevika made and then went back to studying. Occasionally Viren would get up and make some coffee for the both of them. They both wanted to finish their exams so they could enjoy their summer together.
