Agar hostel mein hi padhanaa tha to lekar kyu aaye the???
Effected separation from her blood relations, holding up the flag of best interest of the child (not leaving her alone & insecure). How are they taking care of her interests by sending her to hostel.

This is equivalent to providing her maintenance amount in her mama's home, which our philanthropic 'Mother India' had so bitterly opposed in the first instance.

I disagree. Things have certainly changed for the Singhanias since the time Akshara brought Chikki home. According to the story, Akshi hardly has time for her own son now. I think it makes perfect sense for her to have sent Chikki to boarding school. After all, she's a teenager now and not a vulnerable and immature baby any more.

Yes, I agree that things have completely changed but that is what planning for the future means; banking for an unprecedented & every unforseeable eventuality. And every "RESPONSIBLE" person does that for his/her family members, so they ought to have done that, but for, sadly the fact that the girl was not from the family.

Secondly, one never abdicates responsibilities & obligations towards the children, or for that matter towards any & all family members.(but even more specifically the elders & the children in the family) come what may. Whether its economic issues, emotional turnmoil or any other physical or circumstantial problems, one has to steer clear of it keeping the company of everybody in tact. All that matters is commitment, everything else, resources, situations and all fall in place eventually.

Its so simplistic to take the easy way out of the back door. So they sent her away to the hostel, but I doubt they would've shown to do so in case of their own child. They would have persisted with providing every protection to him in any adverse situation even if they had to compromise with every other thing.

The point I was trying to make was that what was depicted was so unlike & inconsistent of the traits of concern which were shown by Ak for that girl. Presently, even with all her pre-occupation, she is trying to make up with the time lost on her own son, SHE IS STRUGGLING TO MAKE THE ENDS MEET, but she's not giving up or abdicating her obligation towards her child. There in fact lies the difference.

But in any case, everybody is entitled to individual opinions..

I would like to bring to notice the fact that NK & GAYATRI ji(whom alot of members on the forum ensure to curse religiously) had very explicitly & expressly tried to explain Ak that it is not easy to bring someone into our lives & change everything mechanically. That the girls life will never be the same after such an action. They were very maturely dissuading her from enforcing such a change into her & their life. But it was not to be..It appeared that she was on a crusade for benefaction. All senses were numb.

It turns out that she transplanted the girl from one place to the other & to another at her free will. First she took the responsibility & then backed off taking the easy way out to escape.

Will she have an answer if that girl asks that what right did she have to turn her life? She had promised her a FAMILY; where is it??

Philanthropy appears very attractive but is extremely difficult to keep up with.
