Ok so after a long time,mushkil se, I started watching the show again from last week. Yes, I miss Sneha like crazy...I had no intention of getting back to the show,but I'm a Shantanu fan too. So I thought I could atleast tolerate the show,by watching him in there. But...I hardly saw any footage for him in the last few episodes. 😕
Swayam is either shown running around Rey, nodding his head to Rey's suggestions and ideas, doing Rey's bidding, standing by Rey, lying to his friends coz Rey asked him to, helping Rey fulfill challenges etc etc...inn sab mein Swayam ki individuality jaise kahi kho gayi hai. I know he's passionate about dance too,he was equally hurt and upset about all the dance ban drama, he too wanted to set things right with Rey.
I agree the whole idea of trying to convince the authorities to lift the ban on dance was Rey's. I have no issues with it. He is after all a core character. But so is Swayam!
Even Swayam could have come up with some ideas, he was always shown as the smart and thoughtful one,even he could have given suggestions n stuff. Sab Rey se kyun karwaya??😕
And then there was the 'Grand' Flash Mob yesterday...it looked more like a Rey-centric dance again.😳
And then AVP's challenge in today's episode was again with Rey. Swayam toh aaj mujhe theek se dikha bhi nahi🥱
Where the hell is Swayam in all of this??😲
There are so many possible scenes which can be focussed on Swayam. Maybe not everyday...I understand there needs to be focus on all characters. But is that happening in D3 now?? No.
The focus is ALWAYS on Rey and Taani...how Rey fights against all odds to prove dance is important, how Taani stands up to Rey in spite of her feelings for him...*sigh*
Why canit we have at least a 5 minute individual Swayam scene...where he's expressing his own thoughts about this whole challenge or dance-ban n stuff, or a Swayam monologue where he's missing Sharon and is dreaming about her,or an instance where HE comes up with an idea to help everyone face AVP's challenges. ??
It's sooo disheartening to see that the once flamboyant lead of the show has been turned into a mere sidekick now.
I understand its necessary to move the TaRey track ahead now that SwaRon is on hold. But too much of anything sometimes isn't digestible.
I really really hope the CV's find a Sharon soon,so that we can finally see the SwaRon story getting back on track and Tannu getting proper footage.
Coz there's only so much disappointment a SwaRon fan can handle. Some of us are trying our best to give the show a second chance after Sneha left only coz of Tannu. And if he's also being sidelined and disregarded now, I don't think anyone will bother to watch even after they bring in the new SwaRon.
Rey is the lead and so is Swayam. So its only fair that both get equal importance and equal screen-space.
