In today's episode, Sapna raised a very good point about women and tears. Not that Sapna exactly practices what she preaches but what she said was very true. Most of us, when faced with tricky/difficult situations, use tears to escape such circumstances or to simply gain sympathy. Some do it more than others. Aashka and Delnaaz are the biggest examples of that. Today, Sana and Mink resorted to that route as well. Was there really a need for it? The answer is no. If Sana truly believed she was right, she could have shut Sapna up easily. But she took the easy way out by crying. Why did Mink cry? I understand she was hurt when Santosh swore but he had apologized to her. And why was she expecting so much out of Vrajesh? Why do we women always have such high expectations from everyone? Why aren't we self-sufficient? If Santosh was swearing, why couldn't Mink go out there and tell him to shut up herself? If Aashka fell, why does she need Delnaaz and Sana to check up on her? If Delnaaz has gone through a really bad time in the last two years, why howl and declare it to the whole world? If Sapna misbehaved with Sidhuji, a simple apology would have been enough. But no, she had to resort to tears and bitching during the apology! I loathe my own kind sometimes for this very reason!đ
Now coming to my main point...I'm not a blind fan of Urvashi. She has a lot of flaws just as everyone else BUT, this is one strong woman! She makes me go, "Dayum woman!" That is the reason I love and respect her so much. She too can play the sympathy and tear card. In fact, she has more reasons to do that because she has had a hard life as a single mom of two. Has she ever done that? Nope! She embraces her problems with dignity. When Sapna and SAD group was crying foul against Niketan for manhandling, Urvashi took a stand saying don't take advantage of being a woman! Sapna called her a moti bhains instead. Did Urvashi cry or ask for an apology? No. She made a joke out of it and started calling herself MIB (Moti Indian Bhains). I have never once seen her take the easy way out. Yes she can be loud, crude and vile. But at the end of the day, she is straightforward, honest and incredibly strong! Respect!đ
Urvashi's tears in the pre-cap for her kids, now that's genuine tears of a mother because I cried with her. The only time I cried before during this season was when Aseem left. I'm not an Aashka who cries a river at the drop of a hat. So to all Aashka/Delnaaz/Sana fans, I have a question for you. Did their crying ever bring tears to your eyes? If the answer is a yes then maybe I'm wrong somewhere. And hate Urvashi all you want, but at least soak in this wonderful trait of hers. Aashka kinda girls who are extremely emotional, controlling, demanding(not in a visible way like Urvashi) and full of self-pity are usually very venomous from within. I can tell you this from personal experience! Such girls should be anything but role models! đ
To all the females reading this, use your tears carefully so that others value them. And even if someone has done us wrong, let's not act like victims! Let's build ourselves in such a way that during bad times, we don't have to depend on anyone but ourselves!đ
