That was a lovely scene today and some truly wonderful acting from Surbhi👏

It's nice to see this side to Zoya because it gives us more character insight apart from her usually bubbly ways. This shows us that there is depth in her character, that she has so much tragedy in her own life but chooses to put on a happy face and live life to the fullest no matter what her pain.

The dialogues were fantastic too...I loved Dilshad's analogy about letting the windows open and letting the cool breeze in to alleviate the pain and sorrow...it sounds better in Hindi/Urdu obviously...the translation doesn't do it justice.

The one line from Zoya that really touched my heart was the bit where she says, 'Maa ki jagah koi nahin le sakta"...Surbhi enacted that bit really well.

The bonding b/w Zoya-Dilshad is lovely...hope to see it continued.

yes, she is a delight to watch. Your last sentence cracked me up. Yup, just as Zoya says... He still resides in the 17th century.

you are so right...Surbhi was so natural in emoting the scene. It's so easy to get carried away in one's sorrow but its so difficult to move past that and shine in life. It's uplifting to see Zoya and hence she is worthy of admiration.

Zoya is one of the most beautifully etched out characters from the PH...

She represent the gen now young hurl, who speaks her mind but is sensitive at the same time...fearless and a go getter...but mature too...

Bit having a mother around usually makes people depressed and less confident , but Zoya has proved it otherwise...

Good post dear.

dont you think its a bit unfair to compare asad and zoyas personalities?they have been brought up in different circumstances, and different environments.zoya may have lost her mother at a very young age,(dont know abt her father),but she has had a lot of love frm her sister and jiju.she is indulged by them and possibly pampered by them.asad, on the other hand probably lived with his father, his second wife and their kids.one can only imagine what kind of environment he must have grown up in.after his father left them, he had to take on the responsibility of not only being the bread earner, but also had to be the emotional support system of the family.no wonder he is humourless.he may be an mcp but apart frm that,i dont think that is weird.most indian men are mcps, which doesnt mean they are not nice human beings, sorry.to go on and on but i am a bit biased abt asad.😊
