There is a saying that :" you can say sorry 100 times, you can say I love you 100 times but unless your actions show me otherwise, words are of no value!"
Let's examine the characters of this show in the context of words Vs,. Deeds. And let's see who is still some what true to form in there character, although each one has been twisted unrecognizable.;

1. Sugni :

Her words:
"I will not dance in front of anyThakur"

Deeds:

it took her less than a week after that statement to do danceRAi..(yes she was pressurized the 1st time her mother was sick, so we understood
, The 2nd time Jiji "gulit triped" her and she did it agaist Vickram's wishes, she wanted to do something to repay him for his kindness, ironically all she endded up doing was sending his blood pressure up having to listen to the remarks of the other thakurs, and
3rd After walking away from Vickram she herself told Bumsukhiya to she is willing to go do Rai!

"I will not do my Sardakhai..ever "

She leaves Vickram and calls her own Sardakhi, no pressure form any one, she dose not listen to her mother's cries that they will move.

" I will go to the next village"

After her mothers Sardakhi she tries but no money unable to.
After leaving Vickram her mother askes her to go to the next village she refused
Adi told her he set her free she can leave and go some other place leave a free life, she refused (she had to payback her 20,0000 debt
Adi refused to marry her, with no support she decdes to leave, but this time stopped by the riot...ironically she convinced Vickram to leave
After her marriage to Adi, he says "if there is no place for Sugni, he won't live there, Sugni refuses to move again because she wants then to accept her.

"Thakur Malick I accept you as my husband, heart, mind, body and soul"

Having declared that infront of God, she was in for a very rude and disheartning awakning when she found out is first wife was alive. So she did the right thing and walk and left.

"Sita Miya , I can't marry Vickram, but I will love him silently for the rest of my life and be his Meera till I die"

(This one took the cake) In the space of a few minutes she changed her mind, because , her Thakur Malick got mad and got married to his nephew, then declaring her love to be pure and . Ever since then, she has been rubbing the fact she has a "husband" in the love of her life's face!

* this post is targeted to all those who recently started watching thi show and maybe wondering why so may crazy people is supporting a Villian and sicko in the show. And probably not inclined to watch the serial from the beginning. All actions stated above were events that happened during the course of the show, since inception

Deeds

(up until Reva arrived) Showed her respect, love and understanding
He defended her publicly and in front of his family
you may say he sweet talked her into loving him...maybe he did

" I will marry you Sugni"

He told her when she asked if he would after being pressured by her mother.
He publicly declared that he would make he his wife infront of all the thakurs and family.
He made all arragements to have the wedding done with all the traditions ( he did not try to hide the fact he was in love with a bedni and was willing to marry her)

Then Reva came back from the dead! (his violent manipulative, lier wife who wants money ans status above all)

I will take care of my responsibilty towards Reva, divorce her and Marry Sugni"

He made all arrangements to get Reva the medical help he thought she needed (After the shock wore off of her return)
He tried to tell Sugni the truth but was tafraid of loosing her.
He had divorce papers drawn up , but it was torn up by Sugni, who claimed she would never do such a thing.😕😕

"IF it would truly make you happy I will leave you and not return:

He walked away from her after she pulled the gun and asked him to leave. He told another Bedni it was the only thong she ever asked him for so he granted her wish. (Until she came running after him)

" I will turn your life into hell, just as you have turned my love into hatred"

Set adi up for a big financial fall
Made a deal that with adi to get out of the debt he wants Sugni for a night
Blackmailed Sugni into sleeping with him to "save" her husbands life
IN general he has kept his word and made her life hell.

* All in all I would say his words and deeds are still on the same page!

Excellent Post. And of course you can only blame the writers for creating this awful mess and destroying what was once a wonderful character.

there is a clear difference between what sugni did and what vikram is doing

sugni never stood on her words. We always said there was many other option for her than marrying adi but she just ended up doing that.

Vikram always loved sugni never wavered on it and was always understanding.What he is doing today is his desperation to hurt her becoz she hurt him the most by marrying her bhanja .any other man if she had married bicky wudnt have been this angry. Though i feel trapping sugni to spend a night with him was wrong sugni asked for this after all she did to him.

I hate all these bedini's for what they put my family through

After seeing Sugni at his Mama's house, he physically drags her out the house and throws her to the door step.
left no opportunity to insult her and her "kind"
Showed her nothing but contempt whenever he looked hat her
Had fights with Amrita her givng Sugni food , when they were starving.
Disagreed with his Uncle for helping Sugni's Aunt diliver her baby, to the point where he was ready to leave the house.
Was willing to see a woman a few hours out of labour be shuffled into a crowded Jeep, rather than rest in a room in his house.

"I will not stand for injustice even if I have to stand against My Uncle"

Brought Reva out to public when he found her to be alive, and stopped the wedding ( which was the right thing to do)
Turned a blind eye on his Mami's violent side after seeing her draw blood from Vickram
Showed more love for Reva than he did for Vickram's pain.
Got married to Sugni, with out even informing his fiance ,Amrita, of the fact.
Told Amrita it is not what it looks like and he loves only her.
Was willing to go back to Amrita, after realizing Sugni was in love with his Uncle..(after her realized he too was in love with Sugni 😕)
Got evidence to support that his Mami was some how involved in the attempted murder of Vickram, but choose to say nothing about it
He now sees Reva for what she is, but is willing to let his uncle spend the rest of his life in misery because of his notions Divorce is bad!

"I will do Sugni's sardkahai on your behalf I will Keep Sugni as your Amaanat, I will keep her safe, until you get your divorce"

Uses the sardakhi to to blackmail Sugni into "fixing" his Uncle and Aunt's marriage
had no intention of letting his uncle get a divorce even after witnessing his Aunt being violent towards Vickram, after Listening to Vickram's cries of loneliness, after seeing that he did truly love Sugni.(He was Surprised that two people could have such feelings for each other)

"I will never forget that it was my uncle who took us in after my dad left us, destitute."

In the "face" of protecting Sugni, had no bones about pushing his "father Figure" uncle to the floor and fighting with him
Had the gull to insult his uncle by telling him "what I have you can't buy" referring to Sugni now being his wife.
Can insult Vickram for showing his true intentions, but some how forgets that not to long ago Sugni was also crying how much she loved Vickram and no one else can take his place in her heart

"Mom, I did not leave you, you all left us"

He shows no remorse in hurting his mother's feelings by marrying a bedni, when he was witness to all the pain and tears his mother went through
He is proud to say he is Sugni's Husband, and turns a blind eye that his family hates her.
he had not till date tried to be the bridge between his family and Sugni, by explaining his stance to any of them in a clam and rational way

* up to now this character is the most confusing to me , because I am still trying to figure out exactly what battle is he fighting???

You forgot Vinnie he said to his uncle that once he has repaid the 10 lac he owes him he will have repaid all his dues (ehshaan) to TVS for bring him up. That was in Friday episode when TVS roll 10 rupee coin to him.

I was also confused what Adi was talking about that he will get rid of all the ehsaans once he repaid Vikram's 10 lac. Not even a single episode it was shown that Vikram made Adi realize that he was giving him any favor by raising him. Vikram always respected and loved him as his son. In one episode where Adi was throwing Sugni out from his uncle's home though Vikram didn't like it but for Adi's respect he was quite. Vikram even made announcement of reva's existace on his wedding day with Sugni because Adi asked for it. Vikram also respected his jiji ( Adi's mother) though they argued in few places for Sugni but eventually Vikram told sorry to her. If it is not love then what it is.This all feud started between mama and bhanja after Adi stole his girlfriend which is normal because any human being will react and bust the way Vikram did if he/she was backstabbed by the person whom he loved most. But if CVs are creating any doubt of Vikram's love for Adi as ehsaan to show Adi mahaan then they are really cheap.

Great post for putting Sugni and Adi down and putting Vikram on a pedestal 😎

BTW I have watched the show from day one and gradually turned into Sugni-Adi fan after supporting Sugni-Vikram for a long time

IMO there is nothing that justify TVS's behavior and though he was great in the beginning, he is the most disguting character today and I see nothing but destruction for him for which he is 100 % responsible

@ Saboteur I agree with you given all that the family went through because of Bedni's you would think, that Vickram would have thought about all that before giving into his "baser" instincts., and in his desire for revenge and destruction he is forgetting every thing that was rational and human about himself. The blame for which I place solely on the writers/ producers of this show. You said many are failing to understand the point of this story? I throw my hands up every day and ask what is the point? There is nothing in this story that is uplifting, there is nothing in this story that gives hope, There is not one character in this story that can be looked at and admired, because the creative team destroyed them all.
