The audience at the Golden Petal Awards were in for a pleasant surprise as veteran actor as the Mr.India Anil Kapoor performed live with the leading ladies of Colors in his jhakkas style.

Anil mesmerized the ladies with his charm and performed a romantic act with Colors' very own Simar, Anandi, Madhubala and Megha. But the evening got even grand when Madhuri Dixit Nene made an entry towards the climax of the performance made it look as classy as a Bollywood blockbuster.

Anil and Madhuri grooved to the yesteryear's favorite song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and also brought alive Ram-Lakhan memories back by dancing on My Name is Lakhan. The crowd's cheers could not be controlled as they saw one of Bollywood's greatest jodis of all time performed live in front of them.

On sharing the stage with the dancing diva herself, Anil said, " It was a great feeling to perform live and to collaborate with his favourite co-actor after years, Madhuri is not only the best actor but also the most wonderful human being I have worked with ". This compliment received a huge round of applause from the audience including superstar Salman Khan.

Madhuri humbled her Tezaab co-star by saying, "Anil is a very hardworking and talented actor and still looks the same as he used to when we worked together in Parinda".

Well the legendary Jodi's performance, whose last film together was the 2001 release Lajja was definitely the golden moment of the Golden Petal Awards.
