It's a doc's role again!

There are some characters that an actor gets stereotyped in for life. For Mihir Misshra, it is donning the garb of a doctor. The actor will debut in the afternoon daily 'Kumkum' (Star Plus) in the role of Dr. Vikram Kapoor.

Starting today, Mihir plays the son of a family friend of Sumit Wadhwa (Hussain Kuwajerwala), who has just returned after finishing his studies and training in London.

Mihir had earlier essayed the role of Dr. Rahul Mehra in 'Sanjeevani' (Star Plus) and is now seen as a neurosurgeon in 'Akela' (Sony). Doesn't he fear being stereotyped? Mihir disagrees saying, "Every role has different characteristics. From the young medical student to doctor in 'Sanjeevani' to the mature neurosurgeon in 'Akela', they are characters that are poles apart in all respects."

"I follow 'Kumkum' and am glad to be a part of such a talented set of co-stars. I look forward to how viewers will receive me in this show," he says on his new role.

Watching the first episode of 'Nach Baliye 2' (Star One) did bring back memories. "I am looking forward to co-hosting the third comedy round show and performing in it with Maninee. I complimented Hussain, Tanaaz and Gurdeep for their excellent performances," ends Mihir.
