Now that the wedding season is upon us, here's what the star wedding performers are expected to rake in. Rates are for 25-minute shows.

Charges for 'meet and greet' are often negotiated on the spot and vary from Rs 20- Rs 50 lakh.

imagine some parents asking them to attend their son or daughter's wedding and be like "hey...just show ur face n giggle/jiggle a lil and act like ur part of the family...herz your 3 crores..." 🤣...

oh god i judge such people...i judge them hard...😆

double eww🤢...for all the tuchhas who go and shake their hip at private functions for money...especially when they don't need money for a kidney transplant...its just to increase their bank balance👎🏼👎🏼

I can't understand WHY any bride, groom, + their parents would say: I'll pay these stars 2-3 crores to shake it for 5-10 minutes at my wedding.

Shouldn't you want YOUR wedding to be about YOURSELF?

I mean, I for sure don't want Katrina Kaif, Priyanka, any Bolly actress or actor anywhere near my wedding and stealing MY limelight 😆 They can dance at my fiance's bachelor parties or whatever...but my wedding is for myself.

Cousins, siblings, parents, uncles/aunts... the whole fun is in watching them enjoy and in watching them put up stuff for you. It's much more personal and touching IMHO.

...there is a reason why sangeet ceremony its a ritual...coz it promotes family bonding...and the bride and groom's families n friends get comfortable with each other, pulling each other's legs and even getting the super strict dadajis to dance...that is the fun..

i wonder how much "fun" it would be to see katrina kaif doing chikni chameli in my sangeet...😕...

my dada n dadi would probably walk out n be like "whoz this stranger dancing in my house" 😆

EDIT: so did some research abt the GVK wedding in hyderabad...and this is wht u get for abt 5 crores roughly...

Seriously what is the point? I don't get why people have made such a personal and important thing like a wedding a time to basically flaunt their wealth..this is all I end up seeing when I go to India now...my grandparents were complaining about this a while back...they went to this wedding where they had 500 different types of sweets. 😕 These people didn't even invite 500 people to the wedding... W*F do you need that many sweets for? forget that, I didn't even know there were 500 types of sweets 😆

I love Shahrukh, but I ain't paying 3 crores to watch him dance to Chamak Challoat MY wedding 😆

^^yup...ever since weddings have become a big business, its all abt flaunting money...

i mean, i understand for a lot of ppl...wedding is a once in a life time thing so they wanna make everything special n perfect...like most gals want the perfect sari n the perfect jewlerry, and the perfect venue and gr8 food n stuff...tht is all understandable..gals want to look the prettiest and have the best wedding they possibly could...a bit of show off is fine..afterall its YOUR day...

but inviting complete strangers to dance at ur wedding just because they r famous is kinda sad...😆

Why they need to dance at some else marriage just for money sake. They are earning lots of money by films and endorsement. Be and Behave like a star not Bhaand
