This was simply unacceptable and completely unethical. By shamelessly plagiarizing Meera's work you have only shown yourself to be a dishonest person who has no qualms about taking the credit for someone else's creativity. The difference between your own writing and Meera's was sharply evident. Besides, all you did was copy-paste the paragraphs, so there is no way you can ask readers to judge for themselves whether or not it has been copied.

It's a good thing you have removed the parts that were lifted from Meera's story. However, if you were brave enough to reproduce her work as your own, you should have been brave enough to accept that and admit that was the reason you removed the relevant chapters from IF instead of making some trumped up excuse of people not wanting to read a "dark" story.

I am sure you have enough creativity within you to write a story that has not been copied from another one.

You owe Meera, and your readers, a huge apology.

After rewiewing the thread, the DT has come to the conclusion that this thread will remain closed on the basis of plagiarism. Also, the author will be required to send the original author an apology.
