Which movie do you think has better Story line, Better acting, Better music, Better Background score? Since Talaash starts out as Whodunit and later has the twist, Both movies are comparable.

Story: Definitely Kahaani,For me as the mystery was quiet predictable in the case of Talaash.

Acting: Both movies at par with Vidya, Parambrata, Nomoskar, Nawaz acted really well but so did Aamir,Rani,Kareena and Nawaz.

I liked the songs of Talaash and Music background of Kahaani.

But overall I was much more satisfied spending my $12 for Kahaani.😃

Edit: Discussion might include some spoilers of Talaash.

Definetely Kahaani.I think the story of Kahaani was such that it managed to keep me glued to the seat and look forward to what will happen in the next scene, like in Kahaani suddenly in one scene you see Bob pushing Vidya onto the tracks and right the next scene holding her hand back. But I felt this was missing in Talaash. Moreover in Kahaani,I felt it showed everything that was necessary to the story of Vidya Bagchi which was missing in Talaash. They could have easily cut out some parts of supernatural elements and the Naa Main Jaanu song. But when it comes to acting, like you said, both the films are at par because both the movies had a BRILLIANT ensemble cast and realistic locations. The only similarity I found in both the movies is the opening scene...shotti bolchi showing glimpsed of Kolkata and Muskaanein showing glimpses of Mumbai.I think these two cities were a character in itself in both the movies. But yes,the twist in Kahaani drew more of my attention that Talaash.
And LOL at how you mentioned Saswata as Nomoshkar in the cast of Kahaani.😆

Between the two, I definitely liked Kahaani more 👍🏌 Start to end it was a taut thriller and it had a much tighter script and screenplay.
One of the best films this year.

I loved the first half of Talaash, but the second half could have been better. Suspense thriller with a supernatural twist and add the emotional angle to it, Too many things happening and too many ideas ended up making it lose its shine in the second half.
But overall it still was one of the better films compared to many other films that came out this year.
Nawazuddin was top notch in both... 👏 What a talented performer. Hopefully Bollywood recognises his talent and the immense potential he has.

Oh yes the opening scene was brilliant in kahaani with the vibrant Kolkata. Loved it. Yes Kahaani, was totally filled with edge of the seat moments unlike Talaash.

Damn he is just Nomoshkar for me. What a character and acting.👏

Exactly too many elements in Talaash. Even if I can digest one para normal activity, I can't digest the parallel paranormal/ medium track, along with a murder mystery. I just wished by the end of the movie that some how the grief stricken couple could work out matter without the supernatural twist to it.

Nawaz,damn, He is a fantabulous actor.👏

Lovely topic Dejavu.

Well for me it's Kahaani without a doubt. The script was the hero of that movie. The script was so good, I loved every single scene in the movie. I loved the suspense and simply everything. Vidya was amazing and really natural in the movie. The other actors were great too loved them. It's one of the best suspense movies I have watched.

Talaash was a huge disappointment. It was one of the worst movies I have ever watched. The movie was just very boring from start to end. It was completely illogical, and it had many loopholes. Also I didn't like the music in the movie. The cast was not impressive either. Aamir was fine, kareena was not at all convincing in her role she was dressed too glamorous, and rani was okay but expected more.

So it's without a doubt Kahaani for me. Hope more suspense movies like Kahaani will be made :)

I agree with you Kareena looked like a Page 3 party gal than a prostitute. But Rani was excellent for me.😳 Very small role yet she was her best.

Yes Kareena looked more like a party girl than a...

Yes Rani was indeed great but I wish her role was longer :) the scenes of her with aamir was very emotional.
