EDIT: for those of you insane fans that want to know even more about Barun and Sanaya I wrote a bit more about their behavior and what I felt on pages 27 & 28 😊
I just wanted to share my amazing experience to the UK for the SP Live Contest. I was the lucky winner from the United States, so I traveled out from Boston just to get a glimpse of the ever beautiful Barun Sobti. I was lucky enough to get even more than a glimpse and I am eternally thankful. The trip was so worth it and I'm glad I was able to meet Barun before the end of the show.
=GALA DINNER=
Barun and Sanaya enter and the entire place goes crazy.Girls were running up to them as if they were shoes for 95 percent off. I was so much in shock that I couldn't even feel my legs. I just stood there and admired from a far. After all, they are human and I think they deserved to eat their dinner in peace. LOL. There was enough time in the night for fan girling. So I sat back and watched them through the millions of girls who were snapping away.
After that there was a QA session. I was literally the last one to ask a question, and I think mine was the most ballsy. I asked Barun and Sanaya if they knew and how they felt about Love Scene 122 being the only scene from an Indian soap to cross a million hits on YT. I honestly didn't hear a word they said tho, because my head was buzzing, my knees were trembling, my eyes were watering and some Star Plus dude kept forcing me to ask Suraj a question too.
OK, then we had a photograph opportunity. I walked up to Barun, almost fainted. I was literally smiling wider than ever before when that picture was taken and I told him I'm a HUGE fan. I asked him "Can I please have a hug?" and he said "aww, sure". That hug was beautiful. To think that Sanaya had done this a million times... I'll carry it with me forever. I hugged Sanaya too :)
Alright, then we had an autograph opportunity. My friends and I have photoshopped our faces with Barun for fun several times. I wanted to get that picture autographed by him. My dad got my picture autographed and I took my friends. When he saw it, he said "Wow! That's... creative" and he chuckled. I said "Yeah, you have huge fans in Boston" to which he replied "Wow. You came here from Massachusetts?" Totally. Speechless.
When I went to get Sanaya's signature she was like "Okay?". She chuckled and put a ? next to the photoshopped face before signing it.
I just stared at them and raped them with my camera for the rest of the night.
=BARUN WALKS TO REHEARSAL=
Barun was leaving to go to rehearsal. I was sitting here in this random chair. I was stupid enough to not take out my camera. Sobti passes by and I scream "I LOVE YOU BARUN"... when suddenly... BOOM. Sobti looks right at me and smiles.
Rabba Ve starts playing randomly. Flowers start raining down from the sky. I sit frozen gaping like an idiot.

=THE CONCERT=
I was upset because I'm positive I was screaming the loudest in the entire arena when they called fans to stage. People around me thought I had gone mental. But they were really biased and only chose people in the first row. It doesn't matter though. I'm happy for the girl that won. I lost my voice really bad. But I guess it was worth it for Barun ;)
=I LUCKED OUT BIG TIME=
I was extremely extremely lucky and I FOUND BARUN IN THE HALLWAY OF THE FOURTH FLOOR. My friend and I RAN to him and screamed. We would have missed him if we were like 4 seconds late. We clicked a picture and I found out that he was staying in room 4218... for all you curious ladies.
He told me not to tell anyone about his secret location, lol 😉 We promised a billion times we wouldnt
His hair was still gelled and he had changed into a pair of sweats and was wearing two layers on the top. He was holding a pack of cigarettes when I met him and I think he was walking back to his room from Sanaya's (since she was the only other star on the 4th floor). He was looking really tired but he was super nice and gave me an autograph for a friend back home. We were whispering while he was signing, so he said "don't whisper behind my back", jokingly. I told him I came all the way from America and just wanted one more picture and he said "Of course". After my friend took our picture he was like. "Thanks for blinding me" as a joke because the flash took off. I thanked him for everything and he said ur welcome. My friend said "You're coming back to IPKKND, right?!" before he closed the door. He said "okkaaayyy???" and chuckled.
He smells SO SO SO good. I was fainting a bit by his fragrance while taking the picture with him

I had such an amazing time. Totally worth it <3

EDIT: I must say to all of those people who have bashed Barun because he left the show... you need to see this man and you will never think about bashing again. He was utterly gorgeous and his eyes had the same magic, but it's clear that his health has gone down the tube. His torso, when I was standing next to him, was literally HALF of mine. His hair had lost all life, was drooping and overgrown and he was so tired he couldn't remain standing during QA, even despite fans' demands. You could see the ridges of his throat through his neck and his cheeks looked like they had sunk in. The poor man was NOT lying when he said the work has taken a toll on his health. As fans, we should totally support him in bettering his health instead of bringing him down. He really does need that break.
