"MANVI IS PREGNANT" Virat had written in the text message sent to Viren.
Viren was beyond shocked, and so relieved everything was normal, actually way better than normal. Gia was going to be an older sister. He was scrolling through the phone and saw another message from Virat telling Viren not to tell anyone yet. Viren was no so eager to tell everyone, but he knew that it wouldn't be fair for him to tell. After exiting the plane. It took the Vadhera's a while till they left the airport as there were so many of them and they had so much luggage. In the taxi to the hotel Viren was tempted to call but decided to wait so he could talk to Virat and Manvi privately. The hotel was half an you away from the airport and everyone was eager to get there and rest. As soon as they reached Viren helped everyone get their stuff out while Inder went to get the keys to everyone's rooms. Everyone decided to rest and meet up later at night for dinner together.
Jeevika was in the bathroom while Gia was sitting on the bed with viren. Viren thought this was the perfect time to call Virat. He was so excited, but at the same time questioned if it would be safe for Manvi to travel. He called Virat up immediately.
viren - "Hello, Virat"
virat - "Hi, bhai. Did you get my text?"
viren - "Sure did daddy to be. Congratulations to you and Manvi both. May you guys always be happy."
virat - "Thanks bhai. I can't wait now to hold my little baby, but bhai please don't tell anyone yet"
viren - "Don't worry, but Virat is it safe for Manvi to travel. I mean even though its really early, she might have a tough time traveling"
virat - "Well the doctor said it should be okay, just make sure she gets plenty of rest. I advised her on staying back but you know Manvi. Does she ever listen to anyone?"
viren - "I know, but she has to have her priorities set first. I just don't want her to feel sick on the way"
virat - "I know, but I think it should be okay. I'll talk to the doctor once more and make sure i take everything that will help her feel comfortable on the flight"
viren - "Yeah you do that, and please take good care of her. Anyways what time is your meeting?"
virat - "I'm actually going there right now. I just fed Manvi dinner and put her to sleep and Dabbu came this afternoon so I made him sit in my room till i come back"
viren - "Good she's not alone"
virat - "Yeah, anyways bhai I'll talk to you later. I'll call you tomorrow morning before we board"
viren - "Okay and please take care of Manvi"
Jeevika heard the last thing Viren said to Virat and worriedly asked him if something happened to Manvi.
viren - "No jeevika, she's fine. She was just overexcited and running around all day so she's tired."
jeevika - "Okay, Vireji why don't you go shower and I'll feed Gia in the meantime. I don't think she's going to sleep since she slept the whole way from London to LA."
viren - "Okay, I'll be right back"
Viren went to shower and when he came back he saw Jeevika and Gia on the bed. Jeevika was trying reallyhard to stay up as Gia was quite fresh and attentive. She wanted to play with her toys and she was doing so on the bed. Viren sat back down on the bed looking at Gia all happy. He covered Jeevika up with a blanket letting her take a small nap. In the meantime he ordered room service as they hadn't eaten in so long. Viren turned the tv on for Gia but kept the volume low. Gia wasn't a big tv lover but she liked watching a few cartoons and was laughing sitting next to Viren. Viren got his laptop out and was planning out the whole trip on where they had to go. He knew forsure Disneyland was a must, but he also found some nice beaches to visit in sunny California. He made reservations for a few places and also ordered Disneyland tickets for everyone. Luckily the food came and Viren woke Jeevika up. They were all eating their lunch.
viren - "Jeevika upstairs there's actually a mini watermark for kids with slides and stuff. Should we go there and take Gia? Anyways its better to keep her awake a few more hours so she can sleep quietly through the night"
jeevika - "Yeah sure. I'll change in a bit"
Both of them got ready and went around the hotel to see what they had available. There were soo many things here, from a daycare center for kids to a gym. Hotels here were much more elaborate and bigger. Viren Jeevika decided to take Gia to the park instead outside the hotel. Viren brought his camera and was taking pictures of Gia and Jeevika sitting on the swings together. Later Viren put Gia on the slide and she loved that. She giggled like she's never done before enjoying herself with her parents. They left the park and went back to the room. Swamini just then called Viren and told him that she made a reservation at a restaurant in the hotel and that they were meeting in half an hour. Viren ended the phone call and told Jeevika who was now feeding Gia her dinner. Gia was slowly drifting off to sleep because of the jet lag and the long day she had. Viren put Gia in the stroller and the three of them went downstairs to the restaurant. As soon as they reached downstairs Jeevika told Viren she forgot something in the room so she went back up taking the key.
The entire family settled down at the table. It had been 25 minutes since Jeevika had been gone and Viren was concerned that she may have gotten lost. He told everyone that he would be right back. Viren was entering the elevator when he saw Jeevika coming out.
viren - "Jeevika, where were you for so long?"
jeevika - "Uhm, ahhh, nowhere."
viren - "Is everything okay?"
jeevika - "Uhm yeah"
The both of them walked back to the restaurant where everyone was ordering their food. They had a nice dinner and Virat had called Viren just then.
Virat - "Hi bhai, we are at the gate right now and will be leaving soon from here"
viren - "Okay have a safe journey and take care of Manvi."
virat - "Will do, see you soon"
Viren came back to the table and told everyone Virat, Manvi, and Dabbu were at their gate.
vanshika - "Okay, I think we should all go sleep now and we will go out tomorrow morning after breakfast"
Soon they all got up and were leaving and Vanshika took Gia with her.
viren - "Ma, why are you taking her. It's okay I'll take her with me to our room. You won't be able to sleep at night"
vanshika - "Viren, i think I'm a little more experienced with kids that you are. Don't worry she will be fine with me and i'll call you if she needs anything"
Viren noticed the naughty smile on Jeevika's face as Vanshika was walking away with Gia. Viren knew that something was up. He held Jeevika's hand and they both went out for a walk first. They reached the beach and walked along the sand holding each others hand. They walked around for half an hour and then decided to go back to the hotel. But first they made a stop at the gelato shop in the hotel. Viren and Jeevika both shared some gelato and went back to their room. Viren entered the room and was surprised. The room ws filled with rose petals and candles. He now knew why Jeevika went back to the room before dinner. Jeevika lit up all the candles in the room and then went back to Viren who was still standing near the door.
jeevika - "I love you, and I really wanted to have a memorable night with just you and me"
viren - "I love you too jeevs"
jeevika - "I know i don't say this enough, but I really appreciate everything you do for me, Gia, and the whole family. My life would be so incomplete without you"
Viren put his finger on Jeevika's lip indicating her to stop talking. He made the first move and kissed her. The both of them just stood there hugging each other tightly.
