I was really trying to resist writing on the topic but I can't anymore. Here's my take on Karwa Chauth but it's based on the current track, keeping the character's constant so if your expecting candyfloss romance then this is not for you.
{Come Wake Me Up}
The last few days were nice. Who doesn't like living in their fantasy?
But that's all it was. A fantasy.
Fantasy: (n) The faculty or activity of imagining things that are impossible or improbable.
The dictionary's always right isn't it? Her desires were in a true sense impossible and as improbable as a desire can be. She was ignoring reality.
She was living a dream.
Dream: (n) A series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a
person's mind during sleep.
Her eyes were open, but she was asleep. She was dreaming.
Caressing the frame in her hand, she scoffed looking at his pose. How could she even think for a spare second that they could ever be...
Clink.
She'd fallen into a deep sleep...
The soft clink produced by glass frame as it hit the floor was a rather gentle welcoming to it's own death. The frame shattered to the floor into tiny irremediable pieces which remnants of its life.
A soul, a living example of those glass shards, joined them.
...one could only hope, he'd come wake her up.

A/N: I hope you liked it. Read in between the lines and take the text for its figurative message, because anyone can just read words. Please, no complaints about it's size. It's short but if I went into extensive detail and described her turmoil in the cliched ways everyone does, then what different would this piece be? I always say this and I will again. Literature is an art, treat it as such. Appreciate the value, the quality of the piece not the quantity.
Romantic Saps: Please don't ask for a part 2 because I was so close to continuing it but I resisted. I want to appreciate RK's character the way he is and not transform him completely into a Raj from DDLJ.
