Maybe it's too early to say this, but..

hey guys 😊

Once many indian serials start off, the writers of the show are sidelined; the focus is put on the promoting, advertising, how good the main leads look, whether the male lead has a 6-pack or no, and whether there is really beautiful but unsuitable background music every time the female lead falls into the male lead's arms. The rest of the cast is COMPLETELY forgotten, and i know i should not name names, but a recent example of this is Iss Pyaar Ko, which started off really well, however, soon started relying solely on the chemistry between the leads; random characters started disappearing, and none of the rest of the cast was looked upon in depth.

i have been a silent reader of this show's forum, however yesterday's episode triggered me to make this post. I have tried watching many MANY indian tv shows, but Qubool Hai, unlike almost all of them is the ONLY show with a strong and powerful storyline.

According to me, the best thing about Qubool Hai is that EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is developed or being constantly developed. From Asad to Shirin to Rashid's mom, everyone is given their own story; there is depth in that story and therefore in the character, and that is why as an audience we sympathize with everyone. Even though many of us like Rashid and Dilshad, we sympathize with Shirin; even though Asad is a overtly conservative extremist most of the time, we love him - not because he's KSG or because he's sexy as hell, but because we UNDERSTAND where he is coming from and why he is the way he is.

Every character is respectful, classy and beautiful, and everyone from Nussrat to the main leads - including the effervescent Surbhi Joshi is doing a great job! I hope this continues on and Qubool Hai goes great heights!

Sorry for such a long post!

Qubool hai's plus point is that it's a family saga essentially and a love story later. Atleast till now. It reminds me of amazing shows like Tanha, heena, etc. More of tanha. I was in love with that show.
It would be great if QH doesn't go the IPK way and ruin itself. So far it's doing a great Job of setting up characters an showing their emotions and progress. Also, no one on the show is a villain without any rhyme or reason. Everyone does only what is in teir and their family's bet interests, very self preservatory and believable.
Good job so far, hope it keeps going uphill like this! 😊

all I can say is that I completely agree about character's being ignored..and ipk ain't the only one it has happened in most of the past shows :/ but im happy its not happening here and I hope things remain the same (: *fingers crossed* 😆

m not critizing but its height of any thing

exactly yes!

Thats one of the plus points of Qubool Hai, as of now!
wish this shows go on like this...in future too!

At a point, in Indian TV serials there is also a time you feel the story is too much dragged and you loose the interest (irrespective of your fav. actor/actress who keep you glue out of your fanism)

Anyways,

Good Luck to QH! <3

nice post...
yes one of the usp of the show is that every character has their own story starting from asad to shireen ...the characters are beautifully etched...they appear real and we tend to sympathize n feel for the character..

i hope this remains n the other characters are not sidelined that we skip out all the other scenes expect those of the leads...no i dont want that to happen,...
