Read this in today's newspaper. The assistant director of the original serial will be the director. Seemi Zaidi has agreed to be a part of this again.. The makers are in talks with the other actors (Maria wasti, kashif mehmood etc)

I hope they dont start this trend...sequels after sequel

there can never be another serial like ashiyana
it was bestestest
giving a sequel means spoiling it

but most of the cast that was there in ashiyana not seen on tv screen for sooo long
just kashif mehmood, waseem abbas, kodu n maria wasti
all others are nowhere

Nooo, why do they have to ruin it? I still have that perfect image of that serial from childhood and to make a sequel of a perfect story which has already had an ending...just to cash in on its popularity? What has happened to the drama industry nowadays? Have they run out of ideas???

Yup we like to follow BW so now we are doing sequels too. Wonder what's next? Dhoop Kinarey?

Wouldn't surprise me if they actually make one for Dhoop Kinare, Ankahi or Dhuwan...

Actually, I have a secret desire of Dhuwan remake with Fahad and Fawad in main roles😛, but😆😆 I think classics should be left alone in peace and not messed with😆😆😉

I love Aashiyana.. It was one of the best things about my childhood.. I still remember all of my cousins and us acting out the characters.. I would always be Waleed.. Lol

But the sequel is a BIG NO!
You cannot make a sequel to itt.
It will totally destroy the drama..

I think if a family show is to be made they should write a new script and not a sequel..
