It was three weeks before Gia's first birthday and the whole family were planning out what to do after dinner.
manvi - "I think we should throw a huge party for all the kids in our garden area. We can call a bunch of food stands like popcorn and ice cream and have clowns for entertainment."
virat - "What a dumb idea Manvi, let's have a dress up party where all the kids come in Disney costumes?"
manvi - "How old are you Virat, like really? No, we aren't doing that"
While everyone was still deciding on what to do, Viren's phone started buzzing. He went to pick it up. He found out there was some conference in LA he had to attend which was a week after Gia's birthday. He told the whole family, and could see Jeevika a little restless as he had never gone out alone ever since Gia's birth. He went and sat next to Jeevika holding her hand.
swamini - "Actually Viren, I just thought of a great idea. Why don't we all go to Los Angeles and we can celebrate Gia's birthday there? We can take her to Disneyland and it will be a lot of fun all of us together."
viren - "That's actually a really good idea. The whole family going together, I'll call everyone in Hrishikesh also."
Everyone was excited by this. Manvi and Jeevika had never left the country before and it was Gia's first time also. They all were really excited.
virat - "Actually bhai, there's one problem. I have a meeting I can't miss two days before Gia's birthday."
manvi - "Virat why do you always ruin something like this. Can't you push it back or tell them to have a meeting with you earlier."
virat - "If it was in my hand's Manvi I would have done something. I'll just fly out after my meeting. You guys leave a few days before me, and I should make it by Gia's birthday"
viren - "Okay, thats fine. Virat let's go book the tickets."
manvi - "Jiju make sure you book my ticket with Virat's also, I'll come with him" she said sulkingly
virat - "Wah Manvi, when did you start thinking about me?"
manvi - "Shut up you cheep. Be thankful I'm staying back a few days with you, otherwise you would starve yourself to death. You can't do anything without me"
viren - "Yeah virat, you should be so thankful to Manvi the great."
Everyone started laughing at Virat and Manvi who were bickering again. Viren went to the side taking Jeevika with him.
jeevika - "Virenji, I doubt beeji or any of them will come. I mean they can't leave for so long, plus they don't even have a passport"
viren - "Yeah I never thought of that. But dabbu has one right? We can take him along. It will be fun for him with all of us, he'll love it there"
jeevika - "Yeah that sounds good. Okay I'll go call beeji"
viren - "Okay, and I'll take Gia back to the room and I'll go get the tickets booked."
Jeevika went to call her family and they agreed on sending Dabbu with rest of them. Dabbu had a few exams, so Jeevika said he could fly out with Manvi and Virat. Jeevika now had zoo many things to do. She went in her room to tell Viren that Dabbu would be coming but to book his ticket with Manvi.
viren - "Jeevs why don't you make a list of things that we need to take and to do"
jeevika - "Okay, Gia needs to get her vaccinations. Plus I need to get some extra clothes for her."
viren - "How about you and Manvi go shopping tomorrow and get all the stuff you need"
jeevika - "Okay, I'll tell Manvi"
Viren stands up and walks towards Jeevika. He puts her hands around her waist bringing her closer to him.
viren - "Don't you wish though Jeevs we could just go alone, you and me?"
Jeevika understood Viren's intentions.
jeevika - "Virenji, please. Remember what happened last time when we went, Gia was sick plus Manvi. I don't want that to happen again. And anyways it will be more fun with everyone together. Imagine how much Gia will enjoy so much. I think this is so much better than a party. It will be so fun, I can't wait."
viren - "And what about spending time with me. Actually Jeevika I was thinking, that we have a mini Jeevika now, what about a junior Viren"
Jeevika's face was red. She tried leaving from there, but Viren caught her hand.
viren - "Not so fast, Jeevika"
jeevika - "Virenji, please. Look Gia is waiting in her crib. I have lots of work to do and I have to feed her also"
Viren pulled Jeevika back towards him. Viren kissed Jeevika and she started blushing again. Jeevika kissed him back on the cheek and then ran away from him.
