Meh I know guys like him and they are not charming in the least. I wouldn't want to sit next to them on public transit much less prefer them as boyfriends. But people have different preferences.

Put aside the fact that Asad is played by none other than KSG. The characters both have their own qualities worth falling for. Asad is mature, respectable, and dignified. Girls would fall for such a person without a shadow of doubt. However there is a distasteful side to him, he is consumed with anger at times beyond sanity, he is stubborn, he lacks to see others piont of views, he is a little too strict, a little too restricted in his thoughts etc. Ayaan in the other hand, in a way is someone who girls could easily fall for. Sure he is immature, irresponsible, a little idiotic etc, but he also has a heart of gold, he forgives easily, loves uncondtionally ( represented via the bond shown between him and asad/ family members), he is fun-loving, peace-loving and he sees the brighter side of life etc. The question here should be which qualities is the girl willing to accept? What type of person is she looking for?; A faithful husband or a loving boyfriend?Both protagonists mirror characteristics they lack in each other and together they make the perfect guy. In saying that if it came to picking and deciding between Asad or Ayaan, without doubt most girls will choose Asad. I doubt however if that is how it will play out in real life because history has shown repeatedly for girls to fall for guys like Ayaan. Personally, Asad by definition is someone who I could fall for as he ticks most of the qualities I admire in a person. (The anger issue could be worked upon ahaha ;) )
