Spinach is a very healthy food as it contains iron. Though children normally don't eat any recipe made of spinach with relish. But you can present it in an exciting and colourful way. Fry garlic and onions in oil, then saut chopped spinach in it. Add rice, salt, lime juice, cumin and coriander powders, stir and leave them for cooking. Fill small rounded dish with cooked rice to give it a round shape, turn it over in a plate, garnish it with coriander, fried spinach leaves and sprinkle some chat masala for added flavour. Your children will love this colourful dish!

It is important that our children eat nutritious food. But sometimes, they get bored with regular food. For a change, you can cook interesting recipes for them. Saut chopped capsicum, bell papers, spring onion, broccoli, mushrooms, baby corns and tomatoes, and add boiled wheat pasta. Mix them well and if you can, toss them too. Sprinkle some rosemary, thyme and mixed herbs. Your healthy and exciting recipe is ready to serve the young ones.

Serving colourful food of different flavours, often invite children to taste them. They get easily bored of eating routine food. Cooking the same recipes differently is the key to make the little ones have healthy food. Sometimes, you can also cook a particular recipe as they want, since they too are aware of their choices.
