Vedika and Niharika of Sindoor Tere Naam Ka are playing truant on the sets… to rehearse for Nach Baliye 2. Harried producer changes the actresses' tracks

Even while Gurdip Kohli aka Vedika and Kirti Gaekwad aka Niharika of Zee's Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, cannot seem to contain their excitement over being part of Star One's Nach Baliye 2, they have left producer of Sindoor…, Kinnari Mehtaa in a quandary. Both actresses are so immersed in their rehearsals for the dance show that they have little time to spare for the serial, thus making life difficult for her.
Kinnari says, "With both Gurdip and Kirti rehearsing, I have to constantly make adjustments, especially when they are needed together in a scene."
A source in the production house says, "Besides Nach Baliye 2 rehearsals, the actresses are required to attend innumerable press conferences, technical rehearsals, parties and so on. As a result, they come on the sets exhausted. These days they pack up early and hence there is an added pressure on the director to complete the shoot early."
Another actor, on condition of anonymity, adds, "It is very irritating when we have to adjust our timings according to Gurdip and Kirti's availability. Hence the creative team is now trying to bring in a twist in the plot, cutting down on their scenes together. Vedika and Niharika's tracks will henceforth become independent to avoid date clashes."
Kirti, however, defends herself by saying, "It is not all that bad. On days, when I don't rehearse for Nach…, I give extra time to my serials, Sindoor... and Kahiin To Hoga. It's tough, but we all work like that."
Gurdip adds, "So far, Kinnari has been very supportive and adjusted according to my schedules. But I don't think I can continue like this for too long. I may have to ask Kinnari to reduce my track a little more in future."
